Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe's stunt double suffered a serious injury in a film set explosion on Wednesday, the U.K. Daily Mirror reported.

The 25-year-old stuntman was rehearsing a flying sequence using a harness when he was sent plummeting by the blast, which was part of the stunt, the tabloid reported. He was conscious after smashing to the ground but reportedly told colleagues, "I can't feel my legs."

An anonymous source told the newspaper, "The stunt double was badly hurt. He was rehearsing a flying scene which involved an explosion and it seems to have gone badly wrong. The guy was rigged up to a harness for the scene and was flying through the air."

The unnamed stuntman was taken to a hospital; the newspaper had no word on his condition as of Thursday morning.

The accident happened at Leavesden studios outside London, where all the Potter films have shot; the tests were being carried out on stunts for the next movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, based on the seventh and final book in J.K. Rowling's hit series.

A spokesman for the studio told the Mirror, "We can confirm a member of the Harry Potter production was injured in an accident. We are awaiting further news."
