Coraline and Push both outperformed expectations on the Feb. 6 weekend, while Fanboys failed to impress in limited release, the Hollywood trade papers reported.
The 3-D animated Coraline took in an estimated $16.3 million to place third, well above what Focus Features had predicted.
Young males, meanwhile, fueled the box office for the paranormal action thriller Push, which managed $10.2 million, well above the $6 million-$8 million of most forecasts, to place sixth.
The Weinstein Co.'s long-gestating Fanboys failed to break out, bringing in $164,000 from 44 theaters for an average of $3,727.

Something tells me we can expect a quick release of Fanboys to DVD obscurity and inevitable cult hit.

Given the terrible reviews that "Fanboys" received, maybe people will actually give the Weinstens credit for knowing a stinker.

If I had know that it was going to be a limited release I would have probally travelled to one of the cities to watch it. I still want to see it and I will most likely buy it on DVD since I was denied the Big screen. Thanks Darth Weinstein
