SCI FI is taking questions from Battlestar Galactica fans to put to star Kate Vernon ("Ellen Tigh") for a video interview that we will post in early March.
If you have a question for Kate, please click here. We'll be taking questions until March 2. We can't promise we'll ask yours, but we might!
Battlestar Galactica is currently airing the last episodes of its fourth and final season Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Here's a link to past Q&As with Battlestar cast and crew.

The scifi message board had a flurry of topics regarding the dramatic change your character was written from No Exit to Deadlock, In one episode she is intelligent and enlightened after her resurrection, the next she is petty and vile on the Galactica. Is Ellen shizophrantic like Cavil alleged?

Despite the fact that the BSG creators are scipting the greatest love story ever told between Ellen and and Saul Tigh, why do you think Ellen was chosen to be the Fifth Cylon and now that she has been named is she now who she has always been or has she changed?

After your character was poisoned and assumingly killed off, did you know you would be coming back for the end? How has your resurgence as one of the final five affected, and a much more pivotal character affected your career?

The Ellen charachter went through some quicke evolutions in the last couple episodes. The first where she was kind and caring to the last episode where she was mean and jelous. Do you like such a quick chage in the character in a short time. Also what was the stuff (goo) in the resurection chamber?

Up until the episode in season 4, No Exit your character Ellen is mostly viewed as a person who struggles with being a free spirit with all of the men in the fleet, while at the same time loving Saul and alcohol. How does it make you feel that your character is known to be a mother of the cylons and a scientist, which are both respectable characteristics?

When Ellen wakes up in the 'Goo' of the of the resurrection hot tub, how did that feel? was it cold, icky, or just altogether gross?

How did you become interested in working on Battlestar Galactica? Were you recruited for the role of Ellen?

How did you become interested in working on Battlestar Galactica? Were you recruited for the role of Ellen or was a competitive tryout?

I didn't think you'd end up being the 5th mainly because of the prophecy of it was going to be and the line about them clawing their way to redemption. :) In my eyes Ellen's betrayal of Tigh on Caprica wasn't the biggest sin commited by a human from the fleet. Do you think Ellen being the 5th relates to the prophecy?

As an actor, how do you approach playing an alien?
Here you end up playing a 1000 y.o. robot and on ST:Voyager you played an interdimentional reptile masquerading as human (nevermind the poor bastards who end up wrapped in latex makups all day).
How do you approach all of that, practically and creatively?

After finding "Earth" the last remaining episodes seem to use any available actor to play whatever role is needed for the show. Example your character goes from being a jealous witch to a kind compassionate person in about 5 minutes. While others go from being duty bound to only looking out for themselves. Did you or the rest of the actors see continuity between character emotions and actions and most of that was left out do to time constraints, or after coming back from the writers strike did the writers just feel they needed to get the series over with in these ten episodes?
By UnionLabel at 12:57 AM ON 03/01/09
Did you have a chance to watch the webisodes "Face of the Enemy" Your character never really had any interaction between Felix and herself, but how do you feel that they made after the completed filming of the series Felix bi-sexual? Did you or any of the other actors feel it was necessary to have a gay character in the show enough to have included this in the 30 minute webisode series as the writer of the webisode thought it was?

In the final episode of Battlestar Galactica the angel with the image of Cylon #6 says to angel image of Baltar , ( "you know he does not like that when you call him GOD")
The angel image of Baltar them replies ( "silly, silly me")
What are they trying to say ? Are they saying that god was not behind all this, or it was something else like the devil.
