Michael Green, who is co-writing the upcoming film adaptation of DC Comics' Green Lantern, told reporters that the film is "moving forward."
"Green Lantern seems to be moving ahead," Green said in a conference call with reporters on Wednesday while promoting his upcoming NBC series Kings. "I love the material. I was fortunate enough to get to adapt something that I've loved for a long time."
Green added: "They have a director [GoldenEye's Martin Campbell] attached to it now and seem to be moving forward, they being Warner Brothers. And I hope they do, because, as a fan of [the character and title], I just want to see the movie."
Greg Berlanti wrote the script with Marc Guggenheim and Green. Donald DeLine will produce with Berlanti.

Fine. But when will WB make a live-action Wonder Woman film?

Yeah, good question Rick Pultz. Where is Wonder Woman?

The Wonder Woman film is still on hiatus. It is now unknown if Joss Wheton is even still involved with the project. I'm just glad the Jack Black as Green Lantern film rumors from a couple years ago turned out to be a hoax. GL deserves a serious attempt at the big screen.

No, it's not unknown if Joss Whedon is still involved with the Wonder Woman film. He's not. He left the project almost three years ago:

Do we know which Green Lantern this movie will focus on? I assume Hal Jordan, but there are a few to choose from and they're all pretty cool.

SPOILERS:
I've had the good fortune of reading the script that is being made (the first draft, so details might change), and I can tell you that it will focus on Hal Jordan becomming GL, being trained, fighting Legion and Hector Hammond and working side by side with Sinestro during his training. It's all pretty much out of "Emerald dawn" and "Secret Origins". The script is very good, extreemly dramatic and full of space scenes and fights that will take any fanboy's breath away. I read it in one sitting. It's got a great sense of humor, and a lot of the story focusses on Hal's personality instead of just "The Green Lantern".
I look forward to this film with great anticipation.
