The novels of J.K. Rowling may all be best-sellers, but until enough time has passed they can't truly be considered classics.
Designer M.S. Corley has decided not to wait.
Over at his blog, the artist has re-imagined the covers to Rowling's seven Harry Potter booksas well as Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi's five Spiderwick adventures and the 13 Lemony Snicket novelsas Penguin Classics editions, a treatment that since 1946 has been reserved for the likes of William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and Mark Twain.
The artist has also reached out to the original publishers to try to get permission to release these images as prints. Let's just hope that the lawyers over at Scholastic Books don't turn out to be Muggles.

Haha. They're really good. I like them. And let's face it, no matter what people think, the Harry Potter books will be considered classics in years to come.

I dont know about anyone else but i am so sick of the freaking harry potter series of books, it is a series of stories that are blown way out of proportion by readers who seem to think that it is a great idea.

People who don't like Harry Potter movies have probably never read the books. These are books written for kids to read for pleasure - which they have done since the first book. The movies are just like adding pictures to a piece of literature.
