Iron Man's Downey to headline sci-fi Days Before?
Iron Man's Robert Downey Jr., Reese Witherspoon and Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov are in talks for Warner Brothers' sci-fi epic The Days Before, according to Production Weekly (by way of Dark Horizons).
Chad St. John's script follows a race of aliens who invade Earth by traveling backward through time and wiping out humanity, one day at a time, yesterday by yesterday.
One man attempts to stay "a yesterday ahead of them," and each time he must try to convince the world that "the end is coming" again. Gianni Nunnari (300) will produce.

Downey Junior did a stunning job in Iron Man and almost everything else he got his hands on recently. So, I for one will be looking forward to this.
