New Battle for Terra images released

New \<i\>Battle for Terra\<\/i\> images released

New images have been released for Battle for Terra, an upcoming 3-D animated sci-fi movie.

The film tells the story of Senn (Justin Long) and Mala (Evan Rachel Wood), two rebellious alien teens living on the beautiful planet Terra, a place that promotes peace and tolerance, having long ago rejected war and weapons of mass destruction.

But when Terra is invaded by human beings fleeing a civil war and environmental catastrophe, the planet is plunged into chaos. During the upheaval, Mala befriends an injured human pilot (Luke Wilson), and each learns the two races are not so different from one another.

Battle for Terra opens May 1.

isn't Terra the name of OUR planet? what kind of #$% scriptwriter would use this as the name of an alien planet?

No Allegory, its just shitty writing. But what can you expect, it seems like anyone with a computer can render a shitty CGI kids movies now. What I don't understand is why they keep getting green lighted by studios. I have a theory in proof form though

PIXAR = Awesome money makers
PIXAR = CGI films
thus
CGI films = Awesome money makers.

Despite the many times this proof have been proven wrong, studios still seem to think it works.
