AMC has posted a behind-the-scenes video about the making of its upcoming miniseries remake of the classic 1960s cult sci-fi TV series The Prisoner. You can view it after the jump.
Jim Caviezel plays Number Six in this version. Though now an American, Six is still a man who wakes up in a community called the Village, with no memory of how he got there. Number Two (Ian McKellen) is the authority figure keeping everyone there. Caviezel told the press that it was his co-star who attracted him to the show. The Prisoner airs in November.

Truly the movie I have waited for, so very long in the making and so hard to cast, My guess is Ian is the new number 2. With his voice work as the beginning of this roller coaster mental ride alone the whole movie has jumped to cult classic status. I am looking forward to the Village taking people in and never letting them go.
I hope this will not disappoint the fans. Patrick Would have been great to have, however a well place photo in the village as say the information box welcome face would be great.

I'm a purist....place the Village on a coast and make number six British. Otherwise....I don't know....

Everyone has an English accent except Jim so what's the problem deadmanlives? We don't know if in the story they will say they are on the coast somewhere. It sounds and looks really good. There seem to be a huge number of good looking sci fi movies coming out soon. YAY!
