Moviefone has posted a new trailer for the upcoming 3-D animated sci-fi film Battle for Terra, featuring the voices of Brian Cox, Justin Long and Evan Rachel Wood. You can watch it after the jump.
The film tells the story of Senn (Long) and Mala (Wood), two rebellious alien teens living on the beautiful planet Terra, a place that promotes peace and tolerance, having long ago rejected war and weapons of mass destruction.
But when Terra is invaded by human beings fleeing a civil war and environmental catastrophe, the planet is plunged into chaos. During the upheaval, Mala befriends an injured human pilot (Luke Wilson), and each learns the two races are not so different from one another. Together they must face the terrifying realization that in a world of limited resources, only one of their races is likely to survive. Battle for Terra opens May 1.

I guess we know what Hollywood thinks of human beings. If you all think so little of us as a race, do us all a favor and get rid of yourselves first.
I will not be taking my kids to see this one.

Hello! As much as I agree with "kchenault" most likely the movie reflects the true human nature. Let's hope is a quality film.

Hey, kchenault, did you happen to notice that some of the humans want to help the aliens? Guess not. Too bad for your kids.

Does anyone remember when we use to be explorers? You Know To explore strange new worlds and new civilizations..... I mean the new Star Trek movie isn't, this one isn't. Maybe we are de-evolving from the 60's. Sometime i think if our Radio & tv signals ever reach another culture they are going to be laughing their butts off. (If They Have Them.)

LOL at fabricated outrage. Be sure to let Rush know about his so he can foam at the mouth about it on the radio.
Because you know, we humans are just lovable little scamps that hug puppies and watch rainbows! We never do things like invade other nations for no reason! Never! We're just not like that! I mean: we love puppies, and unicorns and hug rainbows!
Koobayya.
Snarkieness aside: this looks lame. Sorry.
