Alfred Molina reportedly cast as bad guy in \<i\>Sorcerer\'s Apprentice\<\/i\>
SlashFilm reports a rumor that Alfred Molina (The Da Vinci Code) has been cast in Jerry Bruckheimer's upcoming live-action The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Nicolas Cage stars in a modern-day New York adaptation of the classic story from Fantasia, and Jay Baruchel plays Cage's apprentice, who gets into trouble when the sorcerer is away. The site said Molina will play an evil sorcerer. Molina, who also played Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2, just finished another Bruckheimer production, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Teresa Palmer is also on board to play Baruchel's love interest.

Huh?

Somewhere along the line, we were all transferred into a parallel dimension and our lives are fading into apathy as we become numb to anti-creativity. Way to go Hollywood!

And, this movie will still manage to turn a profit, because it's people like you, me and the rest of the world that pour money into the theaters even though the movies are getting worse and worse.
