Yahoo! Movies has posted a new theatrical trailer for Drag Me to Hell, Sam Raimi's upcoming horror movie.
The film marks a return by the Spider-Man director to the kind of horror films that first won him fame, including Evil Dead and Army of Darkness.
The movie stars Alison Lohman as a bank loan officer who turns down a request from an old gypsy woman, with devastating consequences. The film, which also stars Justin Long, Dileep Rao, Reggie Lee and Lorna Raver, opens May 29.

Wow! What a racist premise: "evil gypsies!" When do movies ever have gypsies, or Roma as they prefer to be called, portrayed in a good light?
Didn't Steven King have a book called "Thinner" in which an evil gypsy cursed the nice white family man? Why recycle such a bigoted plot?
In Europe, the Roma are horribly persecuted, facing murderous discrimination. Would Rami make a film about evil Jews or Asians?

Wow, I didn't know 'gypsies' where even a 'race' of people. I also had no reason to dislike them until your whinny little outpouring.
Look out behind you! BOO! Booga, booga, booga!
(Please don't put a curse on me).

I saw a bunch of scenes of this film last year at Comic-con. This is one seriously messed up movie. I won't go into detail but it is very over the top and creepy, but also funny in a nervous laughter kind of way. The chick and the old lady seriously beat the crap out of each other for what feels like 10 minutes straight. in that parking garage. It is awesome!

It is nice to see Sam return to the genre that made him. I have much more hope for this film than anything he could do to try and repair a damaged Spiderman Franchise.

Gypsies are non tax paying scroungers. Illiterate and violent. They rob and steal what they can. They are a parasitic leech on the communities they encounter. This isn't a racist comment. It's a statement of fact. Having seen and experienced their company in my town.
Sam should stick to horror, it's where his true talents lie.

Why are they using some music from the original Stargate movie at the end of the triler???

From those scenes I can see that making the Spiderman movies has made him a remarkable film maker. The evil dead rules, rami nation.
