Terminator Salvation game video now live
GameTrailers.com has posted the introductory video from the upcoming Terminator Savlation game, which is based on McG's upcoming movie. You can watch it after the jump.
The third-person shooter will be released to coincide with the film, which debuts on May 21.
Players take on the role of John Connor, a soldier in the resistance, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet.

i wish that voice actor could voice over Bale's batman voice for the salvation movie. that's almost the only thing im worried about with the movie.

He remembers it a little; but this voice over actor's John Connor character's relationship with the past is _over_ professionally.

Why are the Terminators using real bullets and not pulse rifles? Gatling guns? Its supposed to be a FUTURE war. Ugh, Salvation is looking to be retarded

Good trailer, but was too short. If you play John Connor wonder how the objectives, missions will act if you're the leader.... I mean are you as John going to be doing missions for other people or does things just change as the game goes on. I guess best comparison would be is this game going to be like a Bond game where you have a boss to answer to like M or like Halflife where you just got to survive til the end and shoot anything that comes your way...
John's voice should be deeper. He almost sounds like Kyle Reese. Too bad they didn't get Christian Bale to voice it, probably was too expensive. And stealthgear those pulse rifles havent been invented yet. I'm going to assume that skynet pretty much invents all technology and the Resistance just captures it for their own use, and Skynet just hasn't invented those rifles yet. Remember this takes place in 2018 those rifles you seen in the movies are from 2029.
But I don't usually make a decision on a game based on the cinematics, I always wait til gameplay footage is released and see from that whether or not I'd be interested.

i thought John Connar's voice should be a bit nasal. like in T2, only older. it might not sound heroic, but it's better then sounding like a generic action movie character.

For those of you complaining about now pulse etc. remember that the movie/game takes place in 2018 skynet is still developing all those cool toys. 2018 is only 9 years in the future. It takes time to develop and build new weapons even for a super computer.
