Warner acquires \<i\>Methuselah\<\/i\> for an action-adventure film

Warner Brothers has acquired Methuselah, an action-adventure whose title comes from the biblical story of a man who lived 1,000 years, for James Watkins to write and direct, Variety reported.

David Heyman (the Harry Potter films) will produce through his Warner-based Heyday banner.

The film's protagonist ages at a very slow rate and has used all the extra time to develop an incredible set of survival skills.

Watkins made his directing debut on the genre film Eden Lake, which he wrote.

Is his name Woodrow Wilson Smith, aka Lazarus Long?

Yeah, I think I read this, Robert. A. Heinlein's Methuselah's Children...changed just enough that the studio won't be required to pay royalties to Heinlein' heirs.

You really had to reach back a number of years to remember Methuselah's Children and Woodrow Wilson Smith. My congratulations on making the connection.

What other connection is possible? I've been a Heinlein fan for more than 40+ years and still enjoy his works even today.

This is just insidious propaganda by the Howard Foundation families working behind the scenes to control society over the next 6000 years.

I would rather see them do "Time Enough For Love".
