A new trailer has gone live for Imagi Entertainment's upcoming animated Astro Boy, and you can view it after the jump.
The movie is based on the beloved Japanese manga by Osamu Tezuka and will tell the origin story of the little robot boy with superpowers. Directed by David Bowers, it features the voices of Freddie Highmore, Nicolas Cage, Kristen Bell, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy, Eugene Levy, Matt Lucus and Donald Sutherland. Astro Boy opens Oct. 23.

I know this doesn't really have anything to do with the film, but I always wondered if Rusty from "Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot" was somehow inspired by Astro Boy because they're so similar.
