Chuck stars treat 400 English fans to a Subway lunch
Fans of NBC's Chuck have been urging fellow viewers to patronize sponsor Subway's sandwich shops as a way to persuade the network to renew the ratings-challenged show.
Stars Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin took the advice to heart: Over the weekend, they personally led about 400 convention-goers in Birmingham, U.K., to a local Subway shop, the End of Show blog reported. The two were attending the Starfury conventions T1 event in the English city.
Levi, who described the show as "on the good side of the bubble," even got behind the counter and helped out the besieged staff of the outlet, staying until the very last fan was served.
Chuck airs its season finale on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Zach Levi is a very cool guy in person very down-to-earth and funny. He was great live at the San Diego Comic Con the past couple years. Good to see he and Adam do these fun spur-of-the-moment things at conventions.

The only thing worse for a fast food place than 400 happy people coming into your shop at once is 400 people who are not in good mood coming in. I been there for both, feel sorry for the crew but everyone seemed to leave happy

Just write to the station after you have your foot-long and tell them to keep Chuck on the air. the show has grown and the writing has improved.
Plots are developing as new characters come on board. Give it a chance to grow on you.

Chuck is the best spy comedy on-air. It deserves to be re-newed for another season.

I think it shows a lot of character on these actors' parts to do this, especially helping the staff at Subway.

Zachary was such a star - he stayed for about 2 hours! It was worth waiting for a Chuck sandwich - and he did a great job with the fillings too...

Yeah i was there too and it was totally spur of the moment It was Zach taking the idea of the Finale & a Footlong and just seeing what he could do. It was a totally genuine and funny moment and he ate after everyone else and he made everyone else's

Well the ending was a blast. I knew from the moment they talked about this Intersect being different that Chuck was 1) going to to get the Intersect again (which was a given anyways) and 2) that he would be kicking much butt. I even liked the Matrix reference at the end. A way better season finale than the Heroes hacks came up with which had yet another stolen scene from Marvel comics series Exiles where the all powerful evil shape changer is mental brainwashed to believe he is the groups friend with implanted memories. Marvel should just start writting this show.
