

Ronald D. Moore, writer and excecutive producer of Battlestar Galactica, will appear Tuesday, May 5, at the Writers Guild Theatre in Beverly Hills as part of the Writers Guild Foundation's Writers on Writing series. The event will be moderated by writer/producer Jeff Greenstein (Friends, Will & Grace, Desperate Housewives), who describes himself as a Battlestar Galactica nerd.
Moore's previous writing and producing credits include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Good vs. Evil, Roswell, and Carnivale.

Oh my God! I would give nearly anything to meet and ask questions of Ronald D. Moore! Although I didn't realize quite how good he was until I rewatched DS9 on my DVDs, BSG just blew me away. I didn't know he was capable of such greatness and subtlety. Until then, The X-Files was the greatest TV show to me. Now, I'm not so sure what with BSG.
Why do all these events have to be in California? Nothing for Toronto, Canada, Mr. Moore?
I really hope he keeps writing on Caprica because that's when the magic really happens!

I think his hair care products have rotted his brain over time. This would explain why BSG started off so nicely and ended so lamely. If he really wanted to speak to nerds he should have spent more time on Sci-fi and less on grooming.

Naw.. The BeeGees would make a much better producer. This guy is an overrated hack. He co-opts classic movies and then trashes them in the name of "Re-imagining" them. The problem is he has a lousy imagination and couldn't come up with a decent original idea if he had to...
