In addition to performing a string of hit singles, the five members of SMAP—Masahiro Nakai, Takuya Kimura, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Goro Inagaki and Shingo Katori—have acted in many films based on manga and anime.
According to Nikkan Sports, casting is in progress with DiCaprio's expressed intention to "cast with Japanese people."

At least they are not trying to figure out a way to cast some white people. It seems Hollywood is scared to death of an all Asian cast for an American film. Look at the live action Avatar the air bender cast and you'll see what I mean.

Methos , I just saw Dragonball Evo, An the last thing that was wrong with it was the white guy as Goku. I think casting is something only the producer does and the figure that enter his or her mind is what cast will draw the most people into theater seats.
But when you look at film industry of any country is guilty in casting what they perceive to be the race that everybody want to see in a certain role.
I mean look at the Japanese based Spiderman tv series
