Report: Fox terminates Sarah Connor Chronicles

Report: Fox terminates \<i\>Sarah Connor Chronicles\<\/i\>

Is Sarah Connor terminated? That's the rumor being passed on by EW.com's Ausiello Files: Citing multiple anonymous sources, the columnist reports that Fox has canceled the low-rated Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

"It's done," a source close to the show told Michael Ausiello. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks." Adds a network insider: "Consider it canceled."

Officially, the network told Ausiello: "No decision has been made yet. We will be announcing our fall schedule on May 18."

Look for SCI FI Wire's roundup of other sci-fi TV shows facing termination tomorrow.

I can't say that I'm too surprised. The ratings just weren't there, especially after the move to Friday.

Before the finale, I didn't think I would really miss the show, but now I've changed my mind. I loved the cliffhanger ending. It's too bad that we'll never see it played out.

By Token at 8:23 PM ON 04/14/09

Too bad...I really liked this show. I suspect it was guilty of being too thoughtful.

By C.R. at 8:23 PM ON 04/14/09

Is anyone really surprised at this? I tried keeping up with the show this year, but being the busy person I am, I missed an episode or two. The thing that annoyed me about the show was that if you missed one episode, you missed too much. The "previously on..." segments didn't even help. I'll probably end up getting the season on DVD when it comes out, but in today's world, you can't expect to have a season-long arc, have little explanation of what's happened, and expect to continue. Sorry, Sarah Connor. You had promise, but it's time to call it a failed project.

By Rob Wampum at 8:26 PM ON 04/14/09

It's like they all wanted the show to suck and die...the writing, pacing, and the obvious (and failed) attempt at replacing special effects with crappy drama...
First season was entertaining...but what killed the show was that there were too many episodes to write for in the second. Keep the season to 10 eps, and the writers would have stayed focused...

By 3 at 8:29 PM ON 04/14/09

"you can't expect to have a season-long arc, have little explanation of what's happened, and expect to continue."

But...isn't that exactly what Lost, BSG, and various other massively successful shows have done? :/

By Sithboy at 8:34 PM ON 04/14/09

I am going to miss this show, I liked it a lot, and like Token above I agree that it probably suffered from being too brainy; time-travel takes a certain quality of viewer to follow it. I felt that the actors were dead-on with their protrayals, especially Thomas Dekker's brooding and frustrated JC, Lena Headey as a deeper and more interesting Sarah than Linda Hamilton ever gave us, and Summer Glau as the best robot on TV since Brent Spiner! I was scared to death when I heard they were making a Terminator TV series, but I was wrong. This was an impressive piece of work that has only made television better.

By Peter at 8:37 PM ON 04/14/09

I differ with Rob, the problem with many of the Sci Fi shows is that the seasons are too short. There are 52 weeks in the year. Anything less than 20 episodes per year and you've got too much dead time for people to move on to other interests. Think back 30 years ago and shows like star trek had 33 episodes per season. Mini-series like shogun had 13 episodes. Now-a-days, 'seasons' are 13 hours and mini-series are often 3-4 hours broken into two installments. Sci Fi isn't like a sitcom where each episode stands on its own. We need continuity.

By Scott at 8:40 PM ON 04/14/09

I love this show
I hate fox, ever time they come out with a great show they cancel it like FIREFLY.
What's next Dollhouse?
Can the SciFi chanel by the wrights to this show and air the show?

By Peter at 8:41 PM ON 04/14/09

I can't imagine that they will cancel the show without first seeing how well the movie does. If the movie is a hit, it will wet the appetite for a brand new audience. I for one want to see it come back.

By Rafe at 8:48 PM ON 04/14/09

C.R.,

If you missed an episode, you could have watched it online at Fox.com or Hulu.

By Jim M at 8:54 PM ON 04/14/09

I must admit it was a show that drew me in week after week and I could never work out why. I felt it was too often trying to be harder and more cutting edge than it was actually managing. The characters never quite gelled and the storylines were neither as profound or as gritty as the audience and the production wanted them to be.

That said, Cameron was always a strong character but she got shunted to the back during season two which couldn't have helped.

Sad thing is it seems it was finally finding its feet in the last few episodes. Suddenly the prose seemed to fit the tone without feeling contrived and the John Henry Storyline was really quite absorbing.

A great pity, though I'm not surprised.

By stealthgear at 8:55 PM ON 04/14/09

I have a solution!! If they cut budget and only hired Thomas Dekker & "Chola" back for season 3, then made the show a series of car chases and shootouts, I'd *still* watch it. We all know 95% of the budget went to Bear McCreary. I will do the soundtrack for free.

Otherwise Its time for a big:
NooooooooooooOOooooooooOOoooo!

This was my favorite new show. I have nothing else to watch now.

The finale was awesome and so was all of Season One. However, the majority of Season 2 episodes, besides 1&2 and "self made man" were poorly written and lacked any tension regarding skynet & "the turk." Sarah, John, Derek were completely aimless as we watched Jesse torture them and ruin the entire show. The brilliance of John Henry & Savannah was not enough to save it, as they were not main characters. Also, it did not help general interest in the show when you'd turn the TV on and did not see any Endoskeletons or people shooting laser guns.

Following the tweets of an actress on the show I could tell at least a couple months ago that they had already "moved on" as they didn't seem very interested in Terminator stuff.

By M5 at 9:06 PM ON 04/14/09

This was my favorite show, despite the low point episodes this season. A third season could really be great, especially with Terminator salvation potnetially creating new interest in the franchise.

SCIFI CHANNEL-PICK UP THIS SHOW!!

SYFY PICK UP THIS SHOW!!!

By gorehound696 at 9:25 PM ON 04/14/09

I am sick of chasing these shows around hoping they get picked up.I will in the future at least for FOX not bother to watch a new scifi show until I see it is getting a new season so at least I won't get to screwed over cause I enjoyed TSCC and FOX sucks the big one !!!

By superbgpaul at 9:40 PM ON 04/14/09

I watched this show every week and loved it. I don't recall anything promo's for Sarah Conner or Dollhouse during the week since it moved to Fridays. Fox wants these shows to die. Two down, one to go. Very sad

By t0p10 at 9:58 PM ON 04/14/09

you would think they will wait and see how the movie does,If its any good maybe the rating will pick up because of a sparked interest. Hopefully enough for another season.

By chrissnv at 10:06 PM ON 04/14/09

This is the second fatal mistake FOX makes with the show, first move it from Mondays to Fridays (he death spot on TV - think about it the age group watching this is not going to watch TV at that time and day). Next the cancellation of a solid show that improved from episode to episode. Shame on you FOX, I still cant forgive you the cancellation of Firefly and now this....

By auctoris at 10:26 PM ON 04/14/09

I wonder if their is anywhere we can send e-mails, letters, phone calls, etc. telling SyFy to pick it up. This was absolutely one of the best scifi shows of all time. I actually enjoyed it more than BSG. It would be perfect for SciFi Friday.

By auctoris at 10:33 PM ON 04/14/09

Answering my own question.

"If you have suggestions or comments for our Programming Department about the SCI FI Channel or any of its shows, please contact: feedback@scifi.com"

By archer75 at 10:51 PM ON 04/14/09

I really enjoyed the show. But fox does have a habit of cancelling the shows I like and keeping crap shows.

By C.R. at 10:56 PM ON 04/14/09

It is true that one could watch it on Hulu if they had fast internet connection and a fast computer. Some of us do not unfortunately. As for other shows having season arcs, it is true (I am trying to get into BSG). But didn't BSG have shorter seasons or more pronounced season segments?

Plus, I have to give SciFi credit: they did promote BSG better than Terminator has been on Fox this season (maybe for obvious reasons). I have to say networks are too easy to pull the plug or send a show to a timeslot to die (Boston Legal comes to mind).

So, I do see a lot of points, but it still doesn't change my mind that Terminator suffered from problems both internal to the show and outside the show... which is sad because I thought Season 1 was excellent.

By stealthgear at 10:59 PM ON 04/14/09

I'd also love it if scifi picked up the series or at least did a miniseries of it. There is always endless possibilities with this show.

By AngryJonny at 11:09 PM ON 04/14/09

YAAAAAYYY!!! So glad they put it out of its misery.

Aimless character development, meandering plots, wretched supporting cast, depressing tone, thematic pseudo-depth -- this show tanked hard after its great first season.

By SiskoFreak at 11:10 PM ON 04/14/09

According to Twitter posts from Josh Friedman and few other staffs, this information is categorically untrue.

The show has not been cancelled (yet) and Fox has made no decisions. Ausiello pulled this same crap last year--in fact, he claimed then that the sets had already been destroyed...

By arcee at 11:15 PM ON 04/14/09

NOt surprised. This is Fox.

Don't quote me but -- wasn't it during a Con that clips of Whedon's show was being previewed and then when the audience present found it it was going to be on FOX they all let out a collective groan?

With Terminator Salvation coming out soon, it is really stupid to cancel this show. But didn't FOX do the same to Space:Above and Beyond JUST before the future military space marine movie craze caught on?

By jstanfield at 11:23 PM ON 04/14/09

Sad news if true -- I hope it's just a rumor, though.

Although Fox hasn't thrown a lot at marketing TSCC (or Dollhouse) - no ads for them are seen during 24, House, or Fringe, which I watch every week - so I'd actually be more surprised if they were renewed

By Marty B. at 11:33 PM ON 04/14/09

There was a a future military space marine movie craze?

I've been watching it sporadically on hulu. It's an all right show, but as a lot of people said, it wasn't really supported aside from a baggie distributed at comic book stores.

I also don't think "It's not on Twitter so it's FALSE" is necessarily a winning hand here either.

By duneboat at 12:12 AM ON 04/15/09

truly typical of fox. lets face it once they shortened the intro to just a couple of bars of the terminator 'anthem', the show was all but doomed. maybe if summer glau had smiled a wee bit more, who knows we might have had a seaon three. truly in my opinion one of the best shows good old fox had ever put outtad

By samE78 at 12:29 AM ON 04/15/09

Anything sci-fi on the big idiot networks is going to get the axe sooner or later and leave you hanging - with few exceptions. It's a painful existence being a sci-fi fan. At least they somewhat finished Jericho. Some of the shows that have been ripped from me before their time: Jericho, Journeyman, Invasion, Surface, Stargate Atlantis (ok not on the big network but still worth mentioning), Daybreak, ... the list goes on and on

By Radbod at 1:00 AM ON 04/15/09

Well, there's always 24 for sci-fi. Good ol' Jack busting car windows with one jab of an elbow, finding the pre-stripped wires under the steering column, talking to Chloe miles away at HQ from 4 stories underground on an earpiece radio, real-time reading license plates from orbiting satellites, busting encryption within seconds and those always connected cell phones with instant data transfer from "the servers". Who needs interesting time paradox plots when you've got that? Seriously, if SCC is gone, I'll surely miss it as I do Firefly and Journeyman.

By voice of reason at 1:00 AM ON 04/15/09

Um... can I point something out right quick? Anonymous sources are worth nothing. This is rumor. Don't believe it until Fox's Upfronts, or at least until there's actual comment from sources with names. The internet is made of rumors and fabrications. This may be nothing more than that.

By Shaddoe at 1:11 AM ON 04/15/09

At the very least Fox should give the creators a chance to wrap things up, because they can't possibly leave things the way they did with that damn cliffhanger. THey can't! a made for TV movie should be considered, THEN it'll be done!

By General Zod at 1:22 AM ON 04/15/09

well don't think anyones surprised on this. if they'd upped the action like it was in season 1 then it would have had a chance.
the last few episodes reflected this with more action but it was to little to late.
we all expected great things in season 2 but it just was not to be

By Mazda at 2:30 AM ON 04/15/09

It's FOX people. It doesn't matter if the show is rated good or bad, it is going to be canceled by them. Those idiots there don't have enough brains to figure out what a good show is and is not.

They probably have been watching too many of their own reality shows.

By Bluesman at 4:14 AM ON 04/15/09

Fox has made the mistake of OVER promoting the worst show on TV, "American Karaoke" and scheduling to air for 2 hours 3 times a bloody week to the detriment of any show that has a chance gaining a loyal following.

Don't those morons know that Friday is "Date Night" for most of their core demographic?

By Scott at 4:33 AM ON 04/15/09

Didn't anybody read SiskoFreak's comment? It hasn't been cancelled and Ausiello is making the whole thing up. This shows real irresponsibility on his part- I think printing false rumors like that can really damage a show and i hope this damages his credibility considerably.
SciFi Wire needs to update this story to reflect Friedman and company's responses or print a whole new story detailing their responses. Just leaving it like this is bad journalism-something Sci-Fi Wire should be above...

By Pimenta at 6:26 AM ON 04/15/09

I don't belive Fox would dare to cancel Terminator after last episode's clifhanger. They have already done some crazy stuff but this would be too much.
If they do.... i'll never watch fox again. Ever.

By Pimenta at 6:31 AM ON 04/15/09

I don't belive fox will cancel this series. Not after last episode's clifhanger. Even they aren't that stupid.
Canceling dollhouse without giving it the chance to find better audiences in a new night is bad. Canceling both shows.... i'd never watch fox again. Never again!
They've done this enough times. They don't respect fans.

I love this show, there were some episodes which were poor, but they were offset with some superb writing in other episodes. Alison From Palmdale being an exceptional piece of stroytelling. Every episode after sarahs mini mental breakdown has been superb building up to a truly wonderful season finale. If that is the end of the show, what a high quality episode to go out on. Loved the supporting cast, loved the twist at the end, hate the unanswered questions with may never be answered, i hate fox for going about their one network mission to ruin all that is sci-fi.

That said, i keep harking back to Firefly, that was also - my opinion obviously - one of the best written shows and lasted what 13 episodes, and no one has come in and offered to take on the mantle for that, i cannot see the same for this either, although i wish they would.

I would rather a show engage me and not just be pointless car chases and shooting, this could have done that but thankfully did not lower itself.

too many networks are concentrating on cheap and cheerful tv, here in the uk its the reality and talent competitions which i have had my share, at least this program enagaged me, shame on fox who should be tackling this now and not putting off everything until may.

By Ruffles at 9:05 AM ON 04/15/09

I liked the show but it could have been better.
I felt like it was starting to improve and if they don't at least do a tv movie to finish up the story I will be pissed.
You would think with the new Movie and video game coming out they would hold onto it for one more season to milk what they could out of it...

By Jim M at 9:47 AM ON 04/15/09

"According to Twitter posts from Josh Friedman and few other staffs, this information is categorically untrue.

Worth bumping this point - though a little aggravation from fandom might help keep the show alive.

While not a perfect show, it's far better than much of the bilge out there - I'd like to see it find its feet solidly in a third season and I have a feeling, given the chance, it could do just that.

By ExpletiveBMP at 10:25 AM ON 04/15/09

If Fox cancels this show they're stupid, and just when it was getting incredibly hot, morons. Now Dolly House could get canceled because that shiite is just plain stupid; Whedon, firefly spike or die, sucker.

By Allison from Palmdale at 10:55 AM ON 04/15/09

I can completely believe that viewers will tune in in droves to see the same mindless acxtion and boring, predictable plots year after year on 24, BUT T:SCC gets axed for developing a simmering plotline, albeit convoluted, over the course of two years, and features one of the most compelling casts to ever grace the small screen!

I enjoyed the scripts and the cast every week. I fear it is gone for good. Sad.

Battlestar, Terminator, most likely Dollhouse, and next year Lost??? No more tv for me???

Chances of renewal? As T-800 would denote: 0.0

By EWW at 11:09 AM ON 04/15/09

Fox doesn't care about the fans. I'm still busted up inside over the cancellation of "Space Above and Beyond". You gotta admit that TSCC was kinda dull and over dramatic at times. Also a little depressing. It's not the end of the world yet. There were never moments of levity where the characters could just relax and smile. not even once. Even T2 had a few scenes of John playing/joking with the T800. I absolutely hate it when shows with poor ratings go out on a cliffhanger too. As if that will force the network to change their mind and renew. I'll be surprised if this gets picked up but won't be tuning in for round 3.

By SCI FI Wire at 12:48 PM ON 04/15/09

Siskofreak and Scott: We'll update the story with Josh Friedman's comments if someone can provide us with a link to his Tweet or to other comments he's made. We can't find 'em.

By 13courtgards at 1:02 PM ON 04/15/09

I can believe that fox wants to cancel this show. Great stroy line, but I guess we want to see more doctor drams or reality shows that don't require any creativity. Maybe fox can change their pretime into all out Obama bash. I sure this would bring in more viewers then any of their other shows and they could run it for 4 years. I would watch that. Thank you Fox for killing network TV.

By Lily at 1:07 PM ON 04/15/09

If you haven't already, there is a petition circulationg to save the show, please sign it and hopefully it will be picked up by another network, if FOX cancels it:

Or you can email FOX at askfox@fox.com with your thoughts on the show!!!

By TerminallyMiffed at 1:13 PM ON 04/15/09

Ok. I LOVED this show. I loved it despite the fact the the writers were self-indulgent, unfocused, and completely with out clue for all but FOUR episodes this season. As much as I liked it, even I ran out of patience midseason and consider cancelling my TiVo season pass. To the writers:

This is NOT Knight Rider, the Dukes of Hazzard, or Everybody Loves Raymond. You are going to HAVE to deal the the story arc (if you ever get an opportunity to clean up the mess you made). That should have been an ADVANTAGE - there's a compete mythos surrounding Terminator that is ripe for creative development. Sarah Connor's 3 dots??? This is the sort of pointless trash that made this season almost too painful to watch.

Think of BSG...remember when it almost got cancelled? Remember WHY? Disjointed, pointless episodes. At least that show got an opportunity to correct its (unforgivable) writing gaffes. I'm sorry TSCC won't get that chance.

Enough. Want an example of true creativity and meaningful extrapolation on a theme? See www.goingfaster.com/term2029. This guy is creative, smart, and entertaining. And as far as I'm concerned, is far more capable than the writers on this series.

By MattM at 2:15 PM ON 04/15/09

I hope this rumor is false. I liked the first season, but the second really picked up steam. I was really enjoying the ride and was blown away by the season cliffhanger. It would be a shame to not bring this back for another season.

By Bad Boy at 4:16 PM ON 04/15/09

I wish they could do like the Stargate series got to do after being cancelled at SciFi - make several followup DVD movies that can continue any cliffhangers and perhaps get into new areas. I bet the DVDs do better anyway since for ratings they don't include DVR viewers which is much larger than realtime viewers for shows like this especially on a Friday night.

By dharvey at 5:38 PM ON 04/15/09

I hope fox gives the show another season, as it left off at such a great point for the story to catch the ratings that it should have, the cast is great and I really want to continue to watch it on fox, or on another network, or on direct to dvd like
Stargate series are doing, but with the tie in with the upcoming movies, fox would be nuts to cancel the series now!

By MattLive at 8:42 PM ON 04/15/09

http://io9.com/5213470/dollhouse-and-terminator-really-not-canceled-yet-say-insiders

Check your facts. At least contact the producers of the show before you use a second hand source. The journalist also wrote that he knew it would be cancelledl during mid-season and even used wrong facts when revealing the news.

By Dr.who at 9:31 PM ON 04/15/09

TV execs are a bunch of amateurs and need to return to the basics. This season was a pure example. After the writer’s strike there were no great ideas and scripts were lacking. SCC could have lasted at least one or two more seasons. Why cancel it now when you have a potentially huge summer hit. Why???

They never see the big picture and do not invest in their shows. All they care about is short-term results. The first thing they should understand is that there is a base for their shows and should market them accordingly. Ratings are looked at from one dimension now and they don’t look at what shows like this can bring them in marketing revenue and syndication. Global markets would gobble this show up and all they care about is American Idol – 10 weeks of Ryan looking for attention.

My suggestion is to take a broom and fire everyone at Fox Television – even the news channel needs some house cleaning. There are plenty of talented people that would be willing to take their jobs at a portion of their pay. I bet they would be a far better job and put on shows with substance rather than crap like Joe Millionaire. Yo Murdock …Hire ME!

By LatinLuver at 2:12 AM ON 04/16/09

This show is great! My family luvs scifi shows and we dont have any now. I really miss the good old days when shows were given a chance. How many times was X-files going to be cancelled and never did?

By HAteMyRATE at 9:47 AM ON 04/16/09

This show is great. Who cares about rating .. how, yeah, tha same stupid people that throw money into a stupid compagny called MPAA

By Corplhicks at 8:54 PM ON 04/16/09

Fox, PLEASE do not cancel this show. It's excellent and getting better. Here's an idea-- do NOT release it on iTUNES without commercials and don't let any source release it without commercials. You deserve to make money-- no doubt your fans will support it if you show it at a time when people are actually HOME. Also, there are like 5 ways for people to watch TV nowadays-- live, DVR, VCR, iTUNES, fox.com, HULU, and who knows how else. Ratings methods are antiquated. PLEASE. This show is superb. Don't Terminate it !!! Please give it one more season-- how about 1/2 a season as a test?

By artsfan at 4:44 PM ON 04/17/09

I absolutely loved this show - will be extremely disappointed to see it end - so few really good SciFi TV shows and loved the characters. I don't know how they "calculate" ratings but suspect the marketing isn't quite what is should be. I'm a 40ish woman and I was watching it and I got the impression it wasn't marketing to us.

By zeze2008 at 10:03 AM ON 04/18/09

I couldn't stand the 'earth chant music', and whiney existential acting of Sarah, and John was too metro. The last couple of episodes were better, but not in time.

By Wavscaper at 4:20 PM ON 04/20/09

This show really hit it's stride at the end of the year. It's a shame that FOX continues to kill such wonderful shows with no regard for their quality, or potential. I'll miss it.

By Blairangel at 5:03 PM ON 04/20/09

I'm not surprised at this-come on, it's sci-fi on network television. They're notorious for not standing behind sci-fi.

I watched it reluctantly just to see, but I was soon engrossed in the story and pleasantly surprised at how good it actually became. I hate to see it go and would *love* for scifi to pick it up.

By Cindy at 11:21 AM ON 04/21/09

By Ttscc 4eva at 6:16 PM ON 04/21/09

Look this show isn't going anywhere, its like most of you have already said, The ew film is our and the network will wait and see how it does then if it does well will show early promos for season 3 during the buzz for the new movie, I think if Star Trek enterprise wer on the bubble now then it would get renewed due to ITS new movie.

By phritz at 12:21 AM ON 04/22/09

Kinda' figures don't it?
Fox could screw up a banana.
This might be a good project forSYFY,or whatever it is supposed to morph into to pick up to replace some of the junk that they're trying to pass off as scifi.

By Lee at 12:28 PM ON 04/23/09

The real question is: do they have a season's worth of stories to tell that could entice FOX or someone else to pick them up. Several episodes this season were not interesting enough to watch all the way through. Considering this is likely expensive to produce, someone will have to believe in it a lot. I enjoy the show, but don't want to see it ruined through lack of ideas. IF it is cancelled, I am going to think it is because the writers could not produce a cohesive plan for the next season that would make some $$$ for FOX or someone else.

By Augustus at 12:47 AM ON 04/25/09

People that are giving up on this show are quitters not fans. FOX is not a network known for keeping smart shows with potential on the air, only reality garbage and shows for the elderly.

WB absolutely has to take the show to Sci-Fi or another network and keep the franchise going, couple it with the movies, make use of the huge online, international, and DVR audiences.

FoxNet will not win this one!

i really hope Fox sees how big TSCC has become... by itself... and now with the video game coming out and Salvation in theaters in less then a week ; the show and franchise as a whole are getting bigger then ever.... With the fanbase as big as ever and growing i dont see why they would even think of canceling such a awesome show when it has such potential.

Do you want to know what the real problem is with Fox? They have Harvard MBA's making the decisions. These guys couldn't make a good decision if it hit them square in the face. And it's not just Fox...look at all of Network TV, it a mess. The best these so called highly educated idiots can come up with is reality shows. Years ago when Paramount resurrected the Star Trek franchise, the smartest thing they did was keep it out of the networks hands and sold it in syndication.

I think the producers should take TSCC away from the Networks and sell it in syndication. Tell those Harvard MBA’s to go jump in lake where they belong.

They killed the show when they moved it to Fridays. It was the best show on tv. I hope the Sci Fi Channel will pick it up. It as so much potential!

How do we request that the Sci Fi channel pick TSCC up? I just started to watch the second season on Hulu and now, it's like I've been violated entertainment wise.....a weird feeling, like going from grapes to raisens in the same day.....

This was my favorite show behind SG1. I would love to see the show picked by SciFi. It would help to fill the void left by BSG, SG1, and Farscape.

Sci-FI channel....hellllloooooo......take over this show. It already has higher ratings than anything you have on.

Rumor is that Lena Headey was so jealous of Summer Glau's fanbase that she bitched till the writers diminished Cameron's role in Season 2. Lena's acting looks like the reincarnation of Telly Savales; as if they'd pasted cue cards all over the set 'cause she wouldn't learn her lines. Join the Fox boycott, everyone, you can live w/o that crappy Idol.

How can we get the Sci Fi channel pick this up?

By TERMINATOR at 7:48 PM ON 08/03/09

THIS SUCKS!!! IT WAS THE ONLY SHOW I WAS WATCHING ON TV EVERYTHING ELSE WAS THE PITS. WANNA BUY A TV?

By Tim at 11:38 PM ON 09/25/09

This is the only show I watched on TV. You had to think to follow the plot and that challenges your mind unlike most of these 30 minute sitcoms that are all the same. I can't handle those shows.

Honestly, I started watching when both shows started, and I really just lost interest. Joss Whendon may have had a hit with Buffy, but after that he hasn't brought much to the table. Even the Sarah Conner chronicals started pretty good, and I know they need to keep things fresh. What I find hard to swallow is both these shows tried to throw too many charcters at us, before fully developing them (the writers). Look at Fringe , now theres a show that pulls you in , and not with all the Hot little girl power crap, it was fine with Buffy, but it has gotten old. Real Old. My suggestion for Whendon go back to the drawing board.

Crap, I just found out. I didn't hear that it was canceled. I had not seen any season previews airing so I searched and found it was done.
Crap I really liked the show. I must have a f'd up viewing preference, everything I like gets canceled. I watch people watching the Kardashens(?) and wonder WTF are they watching. Must be me.

Fox is blowing it. There line-up has really started slipping and some of the go to shows are far from what they were. 24 is becoming a liberal talk show, Sarah Connor Chronicles, canceled, W.T.F. is Glee?, etc.
