\<i\>Terminator Salvation\<\/i\>\'s Helena Bonham Carter reveals a few secrets

Helena Bonham Carter revealed BIG SPOILERS about her top-secret role in McG's Terminator Salvation, according to a report in the British Daily Mail, which also published a spoilerific image of what it says is her character, which you can view after the jump.

Carter said that she plays a villain in the film: "I kind of play a baddie, definitely a baddie," she said. "I don't know how much I'm allowed to say, but I'm a very bad person."

Carter will reportedly play Serena Korgen, a role originally envisioned for Tilda Swinton, whom Carter replaced shortly before filming began in Albuquerque, N.M., last year. Carter worked 10 days on the movie, which also stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin and Bryce Dallas Howard.

"Tim [Burton] would have killed me if I hadn't done it, because he's such a Terminator fan," Carter said, referring to her longtime partner. Terminator Salvation opens May 21.

Wow, that is quite a make-up job! There's even exposed brain.

Considering the above picture and what I've heard about Sam Worthington's character, it seems like, in the movie, Skynet is experimenting with adapting humans to machines???

Doesn't look like a make-up job. Looks like Photoshop, preproduction concept art.

Probably an earlier version at Skynet's first attempt at developing cyborgs. Which doesn't make much sense considering the machines from the older movies are nothing but machines with just human skin on the outside with no internal organs. So either McG is doing something different or maybe Skynet dicovered a flaw with these versions. With their brains entacted sounds as if these machines could turn human at any moment and help the resistance. Perhaps the reason Marcus assists John in the trailers....

I seem to remember a non-canon (I think) Terminator action figure from the early 90's called a Cyber Villian. Terminators are not true cyborgs. They can function without their skin. True cyborgs are a perfect combination of organic and robotic components such as Robocop. Helena's character may be such a creature.

human machine hybrids? that is so cool!!! that would explain everything. where the terminators got their human flesh, & mannerrisms & everything else up until skynet learned how to create a neural chip (terminator brain), eliminating the need for hybrids!!!
they must also be an early version of the t-800's. they could be like a t-700, (you know like the missing link, lol) or something!!! who's with me on this!!!

No, that's definitely a "photoshop"'d picture. :) Nice one though.

Ummm Jolinar, Skynet didn't have to create the neural chip for the terminators, Miles Dyson did that. Skynet just applied his work to the rest of its creations after it started WWIII. Personally I don't see this as being a first stage prototype before all the other Terminators were created but an entirely new cyborg form. Perhaps Skynet has realized that it can achieve two goals in one by taking humans and harvesting them to make cyborgs for its war against humanity. This is where Helena's character pops up, of course after many explosions a few high tension moments of not knowing who is really human and them BAM! The reveal that.....BUM BUM BUM....Skynet is now using humans for its own means. Wow, maybe I shouldn't see this movie.

Correction IsoTek, Miles Dyson did not create the chip. Him and all of his research was blown to pieces. Skynet's creator was then change to the Department of Defense. The goverment only created the prototype though I'm sure Skynet has evolved in the 4th movie to create their own.

Though as in Serena as well as Marcus are probably the first of their kind at being early versions of cyborgs.... though since noone has seen the movie yet that cannot be certain.

For once I agree with Squirrel on something. Who knows where this, or if this, fits in the T-### model line. Kinda a weird spoiler though. I mean I had no idea Ms. Bonham Carter was in this, though I think it's cool. I am a bit disappointed she's already revealed as a "baddie" for what is probably supposed to be a surprise reveal.

Go watch the movie.

Even before you see the movie you can tell that it is just photoshopped. I can even find the picture of the original picture of her.
