I'm pretty skeptical of all this stuff but I must admit this is a good show, at least the original one. They go into it with the right philosophy, of trying to disprove a haunting, not trying to prove one. I saw a rip-off of ghost hunters on some other channel and it was ridiculous. They would play back footage and audio and say how clearly you can see or hear something that just wasn't there. it was pathetic.

Eh, i really can't get into this show. How many times can going to find ghosts every episode really be that interesting?

Why can't we just show those Doctor Who Specials instead?

Gee JeffCon why not say that they stage the whole show? Unless you have verifiable proof that "sounds" are "dubbed" in during the post production that is your assumption.

Have the Ghosts hunters ever found or caught a ghost?

I watch the show every week. However I must admit its losing its lustre. Also, its hard to reconcile why TAPS hand held equipment pick up spectral traces and the show's production cameras and audio gear just doesn't. Credibility is a little strained here

my family and i don't like the way brian was railroaded off the show just because he doesn't kiss ass like steve and some others do. it seems like they were always making fun of him

This show is good and the the amount of people it gets to watch the show week over wee prove that. Grant and Jason do a great job and I like how they have a core team now. Two Girls, two Guys, and then you have Jay and grant. The only issue I have is the 30 minute per investigation. It should be 1 hour per location not 2 30 minute shows.

On occasion I think they faked some stuff but not for the most part. As far as the production equipment catching things, they actually do a lot of times. If they hear it with their own ears it is usually on the tape too. The key is that the production equipment is set up to do a specific job and that isn't catching ghosts.
Have they ever caught a ghost? Define "caught"?

Brian was a loser from Day one, the show is way better without him "Dude Run" is his one claim to fame, he was worse on GHI. Grown man afraid of dolls.
I like the show, still love the Chair from season 1!

Brian was always lying to Jason and Grant and losing their equipment. It seemed to me that wherever someone said they experienced something, he also experienced the exact same thing. The team is so much better off without him. Jason and Grant treated him like family and all he did was disrespect them!!!

I absolutely love this show. As far as Brian goes, it was fun to dislike him. But in a way I felt bad for the guy, he has issues. He was always the Black Sheep of the team. The show totally rocks.

I used to love this show and haved watched it from the first episode. I also am a paranormal investigator but I must say I am starting to become very skeptical of the amount of amazing evidence they have been getting. If you remember the older episodes they rarely found ANYTHING now it seems almost every episode they find some pretty amazing stuff.

I have heard one of the reasons they always find amazing stuff with their K2 meters is they have a deal with the company that produced the K2 and people watching the show and seeing the stuff the K2 is catching makes people want to go buy a K2 meter and try it for themselves. Who knows they could also have a deal with FLIR the people who make the thermal camera they use.

I've been on a hunt with steve and kristin , I honestly found them to be very genuine and up front. Honestly i just want to laugh at the critics some times. do you honestly think these guys want to screw up there credentials ? Do you go to work just to screw off ? Enjoy the show for what it is - a show ! My final thought doesnt " PARANORMAL " simply define as outside the normal ?

Sitll can't see why ghost hunters stays on the air. The good shows seem to go, but, this stupid show stays on.

we absolutely love this show. its the only authentic one i have ever seen. all the others its more about what they "feel" and things they hear but you can't. whatever. you can't get better than the origanl ghost hunters

I really like the show if only for the "getting out of the reality of the day" factor. My major criticism is for the sound effects put in over the "quiet times" in the hunt (music, drums, wind etc) I can never tell when they say "quiet I hear footsteps" if they really hear footsteps because of the background sounds added for atmosphere.

This show is very good. I am sure the show would not let the K2 people influence them. Love it looking forward to the collage shows as well!

I really enjoy the show, but this season has been disappointing so far. Not many good pieces of evidence. It seems to me that Brian was treated unfairly, whenever anything went wrong it was his fault. I hope in future shows we will see some very convincing evidence of the paranormal.

I get tied of hearing about poor Brian. If anyone ever noticed he is the only one that ALWAYS saw anything, Heard anything and everywhere he went it was haunted. Really how bad could you feel for him...

its funny that people think its fishy that the show camera crew never catches anything just the hand helds. the show's cameras are focused on jason and grant not the activity in the room. if your gonna tear down what you dont understand at least have a solid argument

Love the show!!!!! If you don't like GH then why are you reading a blog about the them. They don't find something ever time they go out.

I absolutely love the show. What I think is funny is that when they ask for a spirit to do something and when that spirit does they always say WHAT WAS THAT or something to that manner.I just think that is silly. Don't be frightened is one line they use on their host .They say the spirits have never hurt you but yet they jump and get scared themselves.I do understand though that they are in complete dark so maybe thats why.But I love the show and never miss an episode.Keep it and good luck.

I like the show and find it interesting. Also like all the new equipment. However, I am sorry that Brian left the show. He was very funny and to the point. He makes the show fun.

I enjoy watching the show. But why doesn't the camera crew catch more of what the "hunters" see? Maybe some new equipment would be small cameras on a headset so we could see what they see. Steve, why are you afraid of so many things?

My favorite show! Hands down.

As a paranormal researcher who is not bound by contracts, I will first say that Jason and Grant have done more for legitimizing paranormal research than just about anyone. But I also feel they are the worst thing to have happened to this field of study.

This is a science it isnt an art u cant make ghost appear at will they arent trained monkeys,you should aplaude them for haveing the courage to seek the unknown whick many of u cat's would be scared to death to do u know im right . Interesting conversation with Jason and grant on a show that was filmed down south Louisiana I think.
The were laying in beds and Jason stated some thing like I'm not sure we're going about this the right way, we're burning a lot of bridges doing this.

Is this a Freudian slip for faking the show, or could it be they were worried of bringing to much information to light so people could make up better stories and cloud the line between true experiences and people just faking it.

I don't agree with every method and theory they use but both TAPS and GHI have done good things for paranormal studies. I just wish my group had a sponsor!!! LOL

What irritates me is that I can't see alot of what they see like the shadows. I do hope they get more updated equipment!

Im a huge fan of TAPS Ghost Hunters and they are better than any other crappy show! I see someone made a lame comment saying "fake" , "did they caught the ghost?" YES of course they did ya idiot and pay attention! I bet you are at least 12 years old and no clue what is paranormal and ghost huntings are! duhhh! Ghost Hunters NEVER FAKED on the show in their life!

For those of you being critical of the skeptics and bashing them, you need to do a little research instead of just believing what you see on TV.

Jason and Grant has already been proven to have faked evidence and experiences. You just don't want to accept it. Heck, last Halloween's live show was full of missteps they took while trying to fake stuff.

For example, that tug on Grant's jacket was a string he had running on the inside of his jacket down to his pocket, which he pulled when his hand was inside his pocket. A couple of minutes before it happened, the camera unintentionally caught him in the background adjusting the neck of his collar, setting up the trick.

Also, when a big loud voice was heard down in the tunnel. The guy that was hosting the show accidentally admitted he heard it in his ear piece, though he was not in the tunnel at the time. That means they production crew piped that voice in folks.

Don't believe me? Then I suggest you Google or YouTube the videos from the parts of last years live show. You will also find info about other things they have faked. I still watch the show time to time, but I treat it as entertainment and to see what I can catch them trying to fake. Don't misunderstand me, I do believe in the paranormal. I believe in a spiritual plane. I just think these guys have lost their credibility in researching that area.

They used to be legit, but like somebody said, they used to hardly find anything and would hardly ever call a place haunted. Now they are finding something every week and are way to willing to call a place haunted with very suspect evidence. That is not coincidence. That is the show's producers trying to keep ratings up, because it would not have lasted as long as it has if it kept going on like the first two seasons with the hardly ever hearing or seeing anything.

FYI...the K2 meter is a laughable. It is easy for somebody off camera to manipulate. Again, do some research on this subject if you don't believe me. I would rather people educate themselves than believe what I or a TV show tells them.

All it takes is a coil of wire a few aa batteries and a mometairy switch.
If you watch "their" k2's it looks like a field charging and colapsing

love your show, its helped me, i have been in my house now for 5 years, i see things hear people talking and i had a chair come across the flower at me so i took what you said to do and told the ghost they are daid and they had to leave ,i also blessed the house in gods name and put oil over all the doors, now its been so quite, i thank you guys i am in a wheel chair and live alone and scare very easy, keep up the great work..........
