Chevy Chase jumps into the Hot Tub Time Machine
Chevy Chase has joined the cast of the time-travel comedy Hot Tub Time Machine, with John Cusack and Rob Corddry, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Steve Pink-directed, Josh Heald-scripted film follows a bunch of unsatisfied guys who get thrown back to their younger days in 1987 via their hot tub.
Chase plays a mysterious repairman who dispenses pearls of wisdom and may or may not be behind the metaphysical road trip. The film is shooting in Vancouver, Canada, and is scheduled for a February release.

Veteran, yes. Funny man...well, I have yet to see Chevy Chase in anything that wasn't ruining or taken down a notch by his performance. He should just ban with Rob Schneider and Horatio Sanz to write technical manuals or something.

I'm not sure why it's become so fashionable to take shots at Chevy Chase. Yes, he's done more than his share of dogs, but if he'd never done anything more than the Vacation films and Caddyshack, he'd have made his mark in comedy. And he was definitely funny in SNL , in the brief time he was there. He's certainly AS funny as Will Ferrell, who some people seem to think is a comic genius.

I believe you confusing Mr. Chase with his fellow SNL alum Mr. Murray.
Chevy had memorable problems with telekinesis, invisibility and dogs.

The people bashing Chevy Chase should see the the first season of SNL and watch The Three Amigos the first Vacation movie. I know nothing about this film except what's in the article, but it has a good cast.
