New clip from Disney's A Christmas Carol
Disney has unveiled a new clip from its upcoming 3-D animated Disney's A Christmas Carol, from filmmaker Robert Zemeckis.
Based on Charles Dickens' classic holiday tale, the movie centers on Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey), his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). When the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take Scrooge on an eye-opening journey, they reveal truths old Scrooge is reluctant to face, and he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.
A Christmas Carol opens Nov. 6.

I'm always up for A Christmas Carol. Sure there are a buttload of versions out there, but it's about how the actors make it theirs. Besides, pooping on Christmas gets you on the naughty list.

Um, did anyone see The Polar Express? Amazing movie. This is done by the same guy, with the same technology. There aren't many movie versions of this that appeal to kids (w/o using the Muppets, etc.). Of course, I'm not knocking that. That's a favorite of mine. However, this will introduce a new generation of people to a great work of literature and in a new medium. Did you know that there are currently over 100 different film versions of A Christmas Carol? I'll take it in whatever form it takes. Good on ya Disney!

Well, I love "A Christmas Carol" and I don't care how many times they do it. It makes me feel good. I for one am looking forward to this new version. I like the voice cast, and I'm sure it will be great.

Polar Express sucked, I don't know what you are talking about.... Naughty list? Please... I'm sure they put a lot of efforts into this film, but I wish they would put them into something more original.
