New trailer for Torchwood: Children of Earth is here
A new trailer has gone live for Torchwood: Children of Earth, the new season of the Doctor Who spinoff series, which debuts on BBC America in July; watch it after the jump.
Torchwood centers on the adventures of the paranormal investigators of the Cardiff, Wales, branch of the Torchwood Institute, led by Capt. Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and teammates Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd).
Children of Earth represents a change-up in the series' structure, downsizing from its typical 13-episode season to this new five-episode format for the third season.

While I'm glad to see them back, it's too bad this is only one 5 episode story, instead of a whole 13 episode season. The BBC must be saving a ton of money this year with only 4 episodes of Doctor Who and only these for Torchwood. The only series that gets a whole season is the Sarah Jane Adventures..oh well, at least David Tennant's Doctor shows up there in a two-parter..
I will be glad to see the sexy Eve Myles back though, even briefly.

Why are the seasons getting so damn short? Things are just getting interesting and then you have to wait a couple of years to see more... Its just plain retarded.
