Warner pushes back release dates for Green Lantern, Sucker Punch!
With no lead officially cast in Martin Campbell's Green Lantern movie, Warner Brothers has pushed the film's release back six months, to June 17, 2011, from Dec. 17, 2010, BoxOfficeMojo reported.
It's not clear whether this will affect plans to begin shooting in Australia in September.
The studio has also moved Zack Snyder's upcoming fantasy action movie Sucker Punch! to March 25, 2011, from October 2010. Snyder's fantasy movie, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, meanwhile, will come out Sept. 24, 2010.
Warner also announced a Nov. 18, 2011, release date for George Miller's sequel to Happy Feet, called simply Happy Feet 2 in 3-D.

Please, don't go with Campell on Green Lantern. Cooper has kind of a nice guy-douchebaggery which won't go home with the fanboys.
Brian Austin Green has a much more dynamic presence more likable, and a way much better choice for the role.

Right, a superhero action adventure movie makes so much more sense coming out in December alongside all of the serious dramas vying for Oscar recognition. Let's not let Warner Brothers make a summer tentpole blockbuster out of this.

Actually, Green was great in the Terminator TV series. And he's way more buff than he was on 90210.
