As much as i like Fringe, Fox has totally lost me as a first-run watcher. They have moved an awesome show with a good times-lot(AGAIN, WTF Fox?!?!?!) and put it in a timeslot with established shows with decent ratings. Networks cant seem to get it, Fox in particular.

I think that this is Supernatural's last planned season in a 5 yr arc. Sorry FOX, as cool as Walter and co. are, i'm not missing my boys in what will possibly be their concluding season.

I'll try to catch Fringe online. But seeing what happens to shows with good online-viewership on Fox maybe i should just tune out and next season when it comes down to Fringe and some other show getting the axe, Fox will pick Fringe up because it has the lowest ratings and "potential"....

I only watched 3 programs on the big 4 (5 if you count The CW). They were terninator, Dollhouse and Fringe. All on Fox. I watched Terminator because I thought it was the best show on TV, Dollhouse because I was too lazy to change the channel and Fringe because it was interesting. With Fringe sometimes I watched it live and other times on Hulu.

With Terminator gone, there is no reason for me to turn on Fox on Fridays and Fringe I will probably just start watching all the time on Hulu.

So bye Fox, it was nice while it lasted.

Too bad they cancelled Terminator... no Dollhouse for me..

By kernel_thai at 5:43 PM ON 06/15/09

It doesnt matter to me which night Fringe is on as I DVR everything I watch. It doesnt bode as well for the show not having American Idol for a lead in and being up against a similar show like Supernatural. I do not understand why networks r determined to counter program genre shows that have small but loyal core audiences.

As for Dollhouse, I enjoyed the first season and Mr Whedon's work in general but can not bring myself to watch it again because of the loss of T:SCC. The show were tied together, pass or fail.

By thebonafortuna at 6:17 PM ON 06/15/09

You people need to get over the loss of Terminator. Stop b****ing about Dollhouse - nobody who makes that show made the decision to cancel Terminator. Its not the fault of Dollhouse.

And to be honest, I'm a Terminator fan. I like science fiction. I watched the premier of Terminator, and do you know what? The show lost me after a few episodes. It wasn't the best show on TV. It wasn't the end all, be all. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't good enough to retain tons of viewers, and while you can complain about Nielson ratings all you want, count me in with the people who stopped tuning in.

Good shows get canceled all the time, and so do great ones. And we're left with garbage like "American Idol" and those dancing shows all over the networks. If you're going to boycott anything, boycott that crap. Because at least Dollhouse has writers and actors and stories and intrigue. At least its coming from an honest place, and offering something new. Its no "La Femme Nikita", but its not bad, either. If you don't like it, fine, but complain about something worth complaining about - all the garbage reality TV out there. Let the people who enjoy Dollhouse do it without having to read your whining all over every post about the show they're trying to enjoy.

well said thebonafortuna. well said. sad to say it will be lost on most of the boneheads here.

I announce "I'm done with Fox" dates: September 17th until Judgement Day

By TomKo44 at 7:50 PM ON 06/15/09

I have to agree with thebonafortuna. I started off watching TSCC and eventually got bored with it. I DVRed it for a while and when my DVR got full and I really had no desire to watch it... the erase button was pressed. Anyone who says they won't watch a show because the network canceled their favorite show is a little whacked out if you ask me. Most of the shows I like got axed but I will still watch the shows that survived that I liked. Unfortunately scripted TV seems to be an endangered species on the broadcast networks. And punishing the surviving shows won't do anything but give us more reality dregs!

By agsb at 9:06 PM ON 06/15/09

I will not Dollhouse because I never understood it. Fringe is almost like the "X-Files" minus Scully & Muldaur, so I will watch it. I was dad when Terminator got cancelled.

By Requiem1971 at 12:49 AM ON 06/16/09

I gave TSCC a chane to impress me but it didn't. It didn't fit into the movies that I had always associated terminator with. In fact TSCC doesn't even fit in with Terminator Salvation (awsome story btw). How could it continue... answer-- it coulldn't.

Why are shows like dollhouse getting all the press when well rounded, nicely written shows like Kings on NBC get next to nothing?

By milestonesoul at 4:06 AM ON 06/16/09

I really loved Kings, I was hoping that the saturday time slot of death would earn it a second chance with NBC, but that didnt happen.

By hackyouup at 6:57 AM ON 06/16/09

"Kings" was not realy Sci-Fi it was a modern re-tellig of the Biblical story of David. It was a way to get Christians who normaly do not suport other xcif-fi shows to flock to the TV, and it failed. As far as Fringe getting moved to Thursdays I like the show but I like Supernatural & Grey's as well as Smallville & Private Practice and DVR's currently only recode 2 things at a time. oh and as far as Terminator I'm a fan but you guys have to get over it and stop blaming Dollhouse, Dollhouse id a good show

By Syberwolf at 7:44 AM ON 06/16/09

I loved TSCC and don't blame Dollhouse for it being cancelled. I do agree that TSCC was by far the superior show and Dollhouse was just ok, I only watched because of Eliza and a little because of Whedon. Though as far as Whedon is concerned the only show I loved from him was Firefly/Serenity and Dr. Horrible. Angel and Buffy were pretty much crap. Also, without TSCC it will be hard for me to tune into Fox but maybe I will DVR Dollhouse, Fringe is ok...sort of...

By notherplace at 8:09 AM ON 06/16/09

I look forward to the return of Fringe. Nice plot twists and character development especially in the 2nd half of the season. At the same time, I couldn't get into Dollhouse - pretty lame fantasy concept with not much plot to develop. Here's another vote for TSCC.

By rtaylor at 9:56 AM ON 06/16/09

FOx screwed up by not picking up Terminator for a season 3... Scifi... here's your chance to make it big...

By FOXSUCKSBUTT at 10:07 AM ON 06/16/09

I cancelled FOX out of my household since TSCC was cancelled.

Sorry Dullhouse and Fring your on your own.

By Remco at 10:42 AM ON 06/16/09

If you liked TSCC, then watch Dollhouse. It's genre, and it needs you. If you all stop watching, Dollhouse will go the same way TSCC went, and you'll have nothing left.

TomKo44 said: "Unfortunately scripted TV seems to be an endangered species on the broadcast networks."

What do you mean? I thought there was already another season of "Survivor" on tap? There's plenty of scripted TV on... it's just presented differently.

As for me - I'll continue to watch 'Fred' on The Dollhouse, no problems.

By Suri at 5:10 PM ON 06/17/09

@txGreg if by "fred" you mean Amy Acker... I believe she's been cast on another show on ABC as a regular. Joss is supposedly trying to work out a time-share thing for her.
