Guess who might be returning to Lost island? (Hint: She's Boone's sister)

Guess who might be returning to \<i\>Lost\<\/i\> island? (Hint: She\'s Boone\'s sister)
Maggie Grace and Naveen Andrews

Quick poll, Lostaways: Who thinks season one of ABC's Lost was the best? Raise your hands ...

We thought so. We agree, and that's why the following is such good news (spoilers ahead!)

E! Online's Watch With Kristin column reports that season-one regular Maggie Grace may rejoin the show for its upcoming sixth and final season. Here's how E! reported it:

"Asked if she was looking forward to returning to Lost, the stunning starlet confirmed she's packing her bags. But what exactly did she say?

"'I'm looking forward to visiting Hawaii soon,' she teased to E! News at BCBG's Whitney Art Party in NYC tonight. 'I don't know why ...'

"While she wouldn't say if she would be heading there for work or pleasure, she certainly sounded hopeful.

"'I think that they are brilliant writers,' she said. 'If they found the right reason, then I'm sure I would be on.'"

So there you have it. Grace, who made a splash as Liam Neeson's daughter in last year's Taken, played spoiled rich girl Shannon Rutherford, sister to the ill-fated and obsessed Boone Carlyle (Ian Somerhalder), in the show's first three two seasons before she met her own untimely end on the mysterious island.

If Grace is returning, she's only the latest of the original castaways reportedly coming back to the island for the final season. Emilie de Ravin (Claire), who was AWOL last season, will also reportedly return, and Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) is, as Kristin puts it, "in a promising state of limbo."
Lost comes back to ABC after the first of the year.

Sure, why not? Everybody gets do-overs when Flight 815 crashes again. Except maybe Locke.

Grandfather Paradoxes are rather upsetting to the old timeline.

Wow, thanks for the possible spoiler in the headline. You could have put it elsewhere, you know.

I'll watch it again when Dom comes back to play Charlie. It got boring without him. :D

By Seanbtwo at 2:27 PM ON 06/18/09

Yeah Charlie was my favorite "cast away" too

Grace was only on the show for the first season and the first five or six episodes of the second, not the first three seasons, as the article claims.

Also...

*MILD SPOILER WARNING*

...the thing about Dominic Monaghan coming back has already been debunked.

"Dead is dead." and "Whatever Happened, Happened."

Wait, didn't she get shot and die? In Syed's arms? I never know what to expect from this show. I can think of no way this could happen apart from the whole idea that the island speaks to them through manifestations of dead people. (Eko's brother, Alex, etc)
