The horror comedy movie Jennifer's Body has been a tumultuous production for Megan Fox, in her first leading role after breaking out in 2007's Transformers. Fox was upset when photos of the film's nude scene surfaced on the Internet: She was wearing pasties, and it was only from the side, but it was not the image she wanted for herself or the film.

Now that the dust has settled, Fox has wrapped filming and even seen a cut of the movie. She told reporters on Friday that she is happy with the end result. Karyn Kusama (Aeon Flux) directed Fox in Diablo Cody's (Juno) script, and Fox said that it's a best effort at capturing Cody's words.

"Diablo's so wicked and funny, it's hard to really make a film that lives up to her script, but I think Karyn did a pretty good job," Fox said in a group interview in Beverly Hills, Calif., where she was promoting Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. "I think it's one of the most interesting movies that's coming out this year, for sure."

Hey, as long as nobody read the script, they won't know how much better it was. Nobody read the script, right?

Jennifer is a high-school cheerleader whose body gets possessed, leading her to murder teenage boys. Only her best friend (Amanda Seyfried) can kill her to stop the slayings.

Cody's Oscar-winning Juno featured quirky comedy about the hot-button topic of teen pregnancy. Fox indicated that Jennifer's Body has a similar comedy slant, if much bloodier.

"It's inappropriate comedy, which I find to be the funniest," Fox said. "It's offbeat comedy."

Jennifer's Body opens Sept. 18.
