New poster, Web site, trailer for \<i\>The Time Traveler\'s Wife\<\/i\>

Warner Brothers has released a new poster for its upcoming adapation of Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveler's Wife, which you can view after the jump.

The studio has also posted a new Web site for the movie, which stars Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. (You can also watch the trailer here.)

In the movie, Clare (McAdams) has been in love with Henry (Bana) her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated: Henry is a time traveler, cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting timeline, skipping back and forth through his lifespan with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love.

The Time Traveler's Wife was directed by Robert Schwentke (Flightplan) from a screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost). It opens Aug. 14. (Click the image below for a larger version of the poster.)

Way before Journeyman. Hello?
Read the book, it's one for the Hall of Fame.

This is even more exciting that Star Trek or Wolverine. I absolutely loved this book and this trailer looks fantastic. The Journeyman did not touch this story.

Hi :) Haven't read the book--my comment was based solely on the article. Now, I'll have to read the book!

I always thought of this story as being like Slaughterhouse Five as told by one of the supporting characters.
