Ryan Reynolds told MTV.com that Marvel wants to get its proposed Deadpool right: "I get to be the authentication police, in a weird way. To their credit—the studio's credit—they want to make an authentic Deadpool movie; they want to make it as close to the source material as possible. ... He's going to be the Merc with the Mouth, [we're going to give] all those answers that everyone wants. He's going to have the scarred-up face, he's going to be in the suit—and, it's going to be incredible."

Frost/Nixon, the fictitious parts, weren't very well written, I thought, but The Queen was quite nice. Hopefully he won't make Bond 23 political.

Reynold's chattering as Deadpool was my favorite part of Wolverine.

Well, here's to yet another terrible Bond movie. I miss the good old days when Bond was pithy and silly. There's a reason why the movies went a different direction than the books...they're just not fun.

Speak for yourself Evil. I have enjoyed the newer bond films more than I enjoyed the old ones as I read the books before I saw the movies. To me all the bond movies before Casino Royale were lame as hell.
The only one that came close to the books was the Timothy Dalton movie, License to Kill, but it was way ahead of the audience and therefor tanked.
I eagerly look forward to the new bond movie.

I'm going to wait and see who they get to write and direct the Deadpool film.
Wolverine was such a clusterf*ck, and it pretty much started (and with the film's finale, ended) with what they did to Deadpool

I agree BlakOpal. I've read some of the Ian Fleming books and I've seen most of the JB movies. What's great about the new Craig movies is that they act as prequels to the books, rather than in the movies. JB in the books is an imperfect character, a raging alcoholic who gets the job done, but also gets drunk and passes out mid-mission. He's an aging secret agent, 42 (or was it 44?) years old and on the decline and he knows it. These new movies seems to want to explain how he got that way.
Connery, Moore, etc. were all fun to watch in their own way, but of course their JB's were ultimately uninteresting because they were not flawed like Fleming's character.
Oh, and sorry Ryan Reynolds --you're great at what you do, but no one is going to take a Deadpool movie seriously at this point . . . especially after what the producers did to the character in Wolverine.

Frost/Nixon worked really well as a play, but the writers had a big challenge preserving the dynamic of the play while trying to "flesh things out" for a larger movie world. I think we can say, "nice try," but yeah, the movie was overall flat.
"The Queen" I've never seen, but have heard good things about. It's certainly "British"; but I think more importantly for Bond, especially this Bond incarnation, Morgan also has "The Last King of Scotland" under his belt. Bond made a mess of MI6's presence in Africa with the first big chase in Casino. Maybe he has to go back and straighten things out, and there'll be security forces and terrorists there looking to settle a score too.
Anyway, yeah, check out "Last King of Scotland" to see what this guy might be able to bring to a Bond story.

Yes, I know I'm painting Africa with a broad brush, since "Last King" was about factual Uganda, and Casino's African play took play in Madagascar and the Nambutu embassy, but we're talking a Bond movie here, not a dissertation. Most of the American and British audience won't be able to point to any of the locations on the map any easier than they could with the last two.

The 'pool character in wolverine was a mix of all their respective DNA
likely wilson was stuck on ice somewhere else while they made up the cocktail of parts into their killer.
