SCI FI Wire's at Comic-Con in San Diego, and here are a few initial shots as we check in on Wednesday.
The first (above) is Syfy's new Cafe Diem, based on Eureka, its Comic-Con home away from home at the Hard Rock Hotel.
Next, above, is a banner announcing that bug aliens are not welcome at the pop-culture convention (this, obviously, is a plug for Neill Blomkamp and Peter Jackson's sci-fi drama District 9).
Last, below, is a viral poster for , pointing visitors to ThisIsTheEnd.com.
Look for massive Comic-Con coverage here for the above films and much more in the days ahead.

How come they never cover DragonCon?

Because ComicCon is frequented by all of the big movie and game companies, and unveil a lot of new trailers and footage there. Not so much DragonCon.

The more I see that SyFy logo, the more irritated I get...I guess they're just gonna shove it down our throats even though the majority of us hate it. Bad marketing move!

Cafe Diem was a great experience and fun. It was a great way to be surrounded by all my favorite shows. I wish, though, they had a booth at Comic Con too! That was a little disappointing ... only promoting Stargate Universe.
