It's a miracle! (Sorry, it was too easy.)
Miracle Laurie, the lovely actress who played the tragic Mellie in Fox's sci-fi Dollhouse, saw that her future was up in the air in the first-season finale, when she was given her walking papers from the top-secret underground hive.
But Laurie says she'll be back in the show's upcoming second season, speaking in an interview with the Baltimore Sun:
"All I know for sure is that I'm coming back next season," Orange County native Laurie says over the phone from Los Angeles, where she's enjoying a break until Dollhouse begins filming again in late summer. "I don't actually know in what form I'll be back. The writers are kind of teasing me—everybody knows but me."
It's unclear in what capacity we'll see Mellie/November, whether she'll remain with former FBI agent Paul Ballard (Tahmoh Penikett) or whether she'll rejoin the Dollhouse. The show returns Sept. 25 and will air in its usual Friday-night slot.

Going to be so good to have November back next season - hopefully Joss will be able to work in a way for her to bring her ukelele with her! You got it write when you described her as "the lovely actress" - she's so adorable!

WOW! Almost as great news as the renewal itself! So very sexy, yet in a charming girl-next-door way. VERY pleased that we will see more of her soon!

Miracle is one of the most beautiful women on TV and a really good actress, so I'm happy that she'll be back on Dollhouse (in whatever capacity).
