Ghost Hunters gang debunks Neverland Ranch haunting
When Larry King visited the King of Pop's Neverland Ranch last week, some thought what took place next was like something out of "Thriller." As King's TV crew filmed inside the Los Olivos landmark, a camera picked up a spectral form moving eerily in the distance.
This strange event took place during a moment meant to focus on the childproof locks on all of Michael Jackson's doors, but ever since the footage was broadcast, bloggers have been abuzz as to what that ghostly shadow could possibly be, even going so far as to speculate that it might be the ghost of Jackson himself.
Jarett Wieselman of the New York Post's PopWrap spoke to two experts who know a few things about the supernatural—Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, the stars of Ghost Hunters.

"It's just someone walking in the far room casting their shadow," said the series' stars, hoping to put an end to the speculation. "We see this all the time. The person would be on the left side of the far room, out of sight blocking a light. We see this a lot."

Then, how do these so-called plumbers explain why the shadow is 3-dimensional? If you look at it very slowly, you'll see what I mean. Shadows are NOT three dimensional.

This shadow is not 3D... I have the original video recorded on my HD DVR and it's clearly a shadow from CNN's staff or someone else.

i can see where Jason & Grant is coming from. but my question is can light that bright make someones shadow go that far? While on the air, was there really people walking round to make to have someone cause that reaction?

The shadow is not 3-D, you can see it ON THE FIREPLACE, and sure there would be people walking around down there, the light down the hall is very bright, probably a 12" fresnal or other TV stage light, they we probably setting up or striking some other portion of the taping.

Smugger - i wouldn't say that shadow went that far, I work in Theatre I have seen shadows on stage in full spot visable from 1500 - 2000 feet

But this is why I LOVE GH, and GHI. Stuff that looks cool and spooky but isn't really, gets explained while still looking for that stuff that can not be explained. Still looking for replacements for Grant and Jason? look up the guy Weatherfails on utube. I'd say he might be a contender.
