New extended clip from the post-apocalyptic 9
A new four-and-a-half-minute excerpt has gone live for Shane Acker's upcoming animated movie 9, which you can view after the jump.
The weirdly original and surreally beautiful movie is a a feature-length expansion of Acker's short film of the same name and is produced by Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov and Jim Lemley.
It takes place in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world in which a band of courageous rag dolls battles for the survival of civilization. Featuring the voices of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer and John C. Reilly, 9 will be previewed at this week's Comic-Con in San Diego and opens in theaters on Sept. 9 (or 9-9-09, get it?).

The only thing that would survive a world that looked like it was beign destroyed would be cockroaches. Yep you heard it here first. haha

Don't like Elijah Wood's voice and I hope that's a temp score. besides that it's looking great.
