MacGruber... on the big screen. Apparently the last creative brain cells have left Hollywood and forgot to turn out the lights.

You have got to be f'k-n kidding me.

MacGruber is funny and works on SNL because it's only about a minute long. If they try to strech it out to be 90 minutes I'm thinking epic fail time.

The MacGruber sketches are always funny. I especially love the "Making lifesaving inventions from household materials" part even though it never happens. Wonder if Richard Dean Anderson will cameo as McGuyver, MacGruber's father (he did on SNL).

I'll see this in a double-feature with the Viewmaster movie... maybe with "Asteroids: The Movie" if it makes it past the censors with its X rating...

Can anyone tell me why Marsters is making History Channel movies? He's a fine actor. I've always wondered why Buffy didn't lead to bigger things for him.
By mjkbk at 11:26 AM ON 07/08/09
iInfall, Marsters has limited his own availability by not going for roles that will take him away for extended periods from California, where his son lives.

mjkbk -- Thanks. That makes sense. Then I say the roles need to go to him!

At least this is not another tired remake. It gets .25 points for originality, such as it is.

PLEASE tell me that RDA will be in this!!!

Ironically, MacGruber is a sly way to make a jokey MacGuyver movie without actually calling it MacGuyver. That would have pissed off all the fans who were fond of 'Guyver, like it did with Starsky and Hutch or Dukes of Hazzard.
But yeah, Richard Dean Anderson has been in on the joke before, so a cameo would be awesome.
Also, I think that while he's directing it, Chaka should totally be wearing the man monkey suit. It can only improve things.

MacGruber?!? its a one joke sketch, and they usually pad it out 20 seconds too long!
