I'm so happy fellow Canadian Callum Keith Rennie will get some major exposure. He's an amazing actor and deserves awards for his performances; just look at the amazing stuff he turned in for the BSG miniseries and "Flesh and Bone"; brilliant stuff. Too bad he was ill-used in the last season, though. Anyway, good for him, even though "24" is the height of formula.

By Slander at 2:07 PM ON 07/01/09

Formula? Yes. High-profile? Also yes. I agree with Mudfeld that Rennie is an amazing talent and I'm all in favor of him getting as much work as he wants.

By Dave_K at 2:33 PM ON 07/01/09

Yeah, too bad he's a Scientology loon.

By TreeH at 3:17 PM ON 07/01/09

Yes! This is great news. I agree, Muldfeld, Callum Keith Rennie is one of the best actors out there and deserves this kind of exposure.

"Yeah, too bad he's a Scientology loon."

No need to repeat yourself, Dave_K!

"Scientology loon"? Since when is it okay to discriminate and pick on someone because of their religion? People are always doing it about Tom Cruise too and it digusts me. You gonna pick on the jews too? There are plenty of them in Hollywood.

By Camulus at 10:40 PM ON 07/01/09

Thought he was great way back when in Due South.

By IsoTek at 11:11 PM ON 07/01/09

Personally I liked him in La Femme Nikita, but hey, he's in another Joel Surnow Show...HOO HOO!

By Space at 2:31 AM ON 07/02/09

Callum Keith Rennie on 24? Well, I guess I'll have to start watching that show. I can't wait to see this brilliant actor in action again.

By Bailey at 8:51 AM ON 07/02/09

Looking forward to seeing Callum and Katee reunion.

PS I'd hardly call Scientology a religion... more like a club for the socially elite [read hollywood] to devise manners/guidelines with which they think life should be lived. or something like that!

By shelma32 at 11:47 AM ON 07/02/09

I am so happy for Callum! Its going to be awesome seeing him on 24.

And there is nothing wrong with the fact he is a scientologist if he is. I may not be a scientologist, but I do know the fact that a lot of them are mis-understood and branded loons just because of a few strange people.

By Space at 4:51 AM ON 07/03/09

shelma32, the scientology comment refers to Bill Nighy, not Callum.
