San Diego Comic-Con International is the epicenter of the entertainment world this week, but not everyone is lucky enough to have a ticket to the magic factory. Fortunately, we're here to help.
iPhone users who have installed Syfy's Comic-Con app are snapping photos galore from the show floor, featuring everything from the latest movie announcements to that guy in the awesome old-school Cylon costume. With the handy widget located above, you can bring up-to-the-minute photos from the show direct to your web page or profile. It's the next best thing to being there.

Too bad they couldn't keep their ipods still - the resolution leaves a lot to be desired.

That is the hands down single worst gallery presentation method I've ever seen on the internet.

/yawn Americans suck at costuming, wtb moar pictures of Japanese anime cons where they 1) dont look like used up oil rags 2) actually put real effort into their costumes 3) are less interested in looking "Sexy" and more into looking like the actual characters they are mimicking
By Yeahsure at 9:54 PM ON 12/09/09
While i do agree they try to hard to be sexy. You should consider that they try to do the same in Japanese anime for the most part. It's always upskirt shots with panties, and alot of them have huge boobs. Anime has to much look and feel of "little kids" cartoons. I never could get into it. Also not sure why you specify Americans suck, it's not really a nationality related issue in my mind.

I already have my tickets for next year, they sold out a month ago. And the Anime manga group was all up on the second floor having a kind of sub meeting. Most of them, some of them my friends, have different costumes each day and are worked on for the entire year beforehand. One started work last year.

So how many of these hotties are REAL geeks and how many are just hired models doing a job?
By Kamikazi2142 at 2:04 PM ON 02/09/10
@ Luke Jackson:
Honestly, the real question should be, how many Geeks here are the same Geeks outside of ComicCon?
In my views of this, the reality of the female Geek is only within ComicCon. Therefore making the everyday female Geek, an endangered specie...
LOL, I know there are some out there, but do 100% of the female cosplay attendees hold the same demeanor outside the convention?
@ Defsync: only a homo would say such a terrible thing! Go back to the USSR you Comunist! I bet your a vegetarian too, huh?

I used to hit ComicCon back when it was still SDCC and fun for the fan, not just whatever the studios are trying to push these days.
You want proof of sexy geek girls? go to Dragon Con, that's where the party's at!
