\<i\>Warehouse 13\<\/i\> is tops again for the night
"Resonance" featured guest star Tricia Helfer

In its second Tuesday airing, Syfy's new Warehouse 13 was the top original cable drama in prime time Tuesday for the second week in a row among adults 25-54, the network announced.

The new episode, "Resonance," beat new episodes of A&E's The Cleaner, TNT's HawthoRNe, TNT's Saving Grace and F/X's Rescue Me.

The one-hour dramedy delivered a 2.4 household rating, 3.4 million total viewers, 1.6 million adults 25-54 and 1.2 million adults 18-49.

In its 9 p.m. timeslot, Syfy delivered more adults 25-54 than ABC (including a new episode of ABC's Better Off Ted).

What I want is a real tour of the stuff there.

Two hours was just too long for the first episode -- too much time to fill. The second one, "Resonance", worked much better.

The series premiere attracted 3.5 million viewers and the second ep. scored 3.4 million. That's excellent audience retention.

This show is starting to hit on all cylinders and its just the second outing. It seems like Myka and Pete's chemistry is really coming along and the potential is great with little hints here and there.

I love this show and I will continue to watch it. Telling all my mates. Cheers!

I think its better then Sanctuary, almost as clever as fringe but not on the same level because of its lack of seriousness. However its not as good as Farscape, Stargate, or BSG. But it will do to kill some time.

I still feel it's way too much like a Federalized version of Friday 13th.

By Kd4mao at 11:00 PM ON 07/15/09

I am going to brag a little, last week I said the show was a little slow but would GROW on you and that the show was NOT hyped like Eureka and would KEEP the audience better and today the ratings say that what 97.7 percent of the viewers from the premier were back this week. It may end up a shame that Eureka is not on during the week and not Friday night, it might do better being on just before Warehouse and might get three million plus as well.

I LOVE "Warehouse 13". Saw the commercials a while back and instantly knew I HAD to watch this show!!! Very interesting how history is brought into the show, such as Tesla, Lucretia Borgia, and many of the items in Warehouse 13. THANKS for a truly new and refreshingly good show!

I was hooked from the first episode, and got my boyfriend watching the second with me. He enjoyed it as much as I did.

While the first episode was long, it's entirely understandable for the set up and all.

Honestly...for a change I have no clever quips here. It's just a good show and I like watching it.
I'm tired of formulaic stuff on weeknights, and since "Rescue Me" runs twice (once immediately after) I think I'm going to stick with original timeslot airings of "Warehouse 13." Oh...PS: It does not hurt that the female lead is really, really hot.

this show is really cool...i am gonna look forward to every tuesday night!

I hope the show continues to grow and bring in interesting, imaginative, and unexpected moments. I like the concept although it does remind me of Friday the 13th series a bit too much. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and see where it goes. The cast is mostly a good mix of talent and well-tailored to the characters although there is one among them that I frankly think needs some help but, again, I'll give it time.

The one nitpick I have had so far is in the pilot. Someone in the show's staff is either geographically challenged or a AAA Road Map of Magical Mischief was involved in putting a college called Southern Iowa University or University of Southern Iowa (can't remember which) in a fictional town located in NORTH CENTRAL IOWA!!! I got a good laugh out of that one! ;-)

Silver lining -- if that and the aforementioned character are my only complaints, I may enjoy this magical mystery tour. :-)

Warehouse 13 has a lot going for it. I like the light-humored tone and the other-worldly aspect of the artifacts. The chemistry between the two agents is beginning to show, though I hope romance is not in their futures. That would spoil it for me.

I think the show enjoys more parallels to TNT's "The Librarian" movies in tone and subject matter. And I can forgive the lengthiness of the two-hour pilot. It was probably designed that way so that it can be shown later as two individual hour-long episodes. The first hour introduces us to the characters and the warehouse, while the second places our heroes in their first true assignment.

Not sure how episode three will hold up, though, because I think it will conflict with BBC America's airing of "Torchwood: Children of Earth," which I do not intend to miss.

That's what a DVR is for :)

By vjw at 9:57 AM ON 07/16/09

I thought the second episode was just ok. We sat through the whole thing asking "Ok, what does this have to do with relics in the Warehouse?" It didn't have anything to do with it...

Oh, an Myka is incredibly annoying. Incredibly.

By In the lost room at 10:11 AM ON 07/16/09

I wonder if any of the items form "THE LOST ROOM" is in the warehouse. And if you have not seen "THE LOST ROOM" you need to.

"I thought the second episode was just ok. We sat through the whole thing asking "Ok, what does this have to do with relics in the Warehouse?" It didn't have anything to do with it..."

The premise of the show is for them to also be tracking down new strange items to add to the Warehouse, which is exactly what they were doing looking for the record.

But yeah, I thought it was a pretty good episode considering I don't really expect much from this show. I like it more than Sanctuary, , not as much as Eureka, and hope this isn't what Syfy plans on feeding us a steady stream of from now on. One or two quirky scifi shows are great, but so are space operas and a deep scifi dramas.

By Syberwolf at 11:10 AM ON 07/19/09

I will admit I had my doubts about this show at first. Even through the 1st episode I wasn't sure about mixing new tech with old devices. After watching just a couple episodes I realized it is really good, the characters grew on me so quickly. The 2 main characters have great chemistry and the overall show is great. I hope the quality keeps up cause it has great potential.
