The fourth episode of Syfy's new original series Warehouse 13 recorded new series-high audiences in both adults aged 25-54 (1.8 million) and 18-49 (1.4 million), the network reported.

The episode, entitled "Claudia," featured Allison Scagliotti as the newest team member. It delivered a 2.4 household rating and 3.3 million total viewers.

This is better than last week's new episode by 36 percent in adults 25-54 and 31 percent in adults 18-49 and tops the previous highs set by the July 7 series premiere by 6 percent in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Warehouse 13 was the top scripted drama in cable on Tuesday night in both key demographics, beating TNT's new episodes of Hawthorne and Saving Grace, among others.

I could spent all summer in that Warehouse.

Last week's episode must have suffered because Torchwood was on...

The truth is, this is a mediocre show that's a rehash of other scifi/fantasy shows. I watch it because there is nothing else on but when there is I won't miss it terribly. It's not a bad show by any means, but shows like this are a dime a dozen and sadly it's been done better. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets canceled.

I love this show! Ramp up the writing SyFy!

The Pete/Mika chemistry is great. I would love to start seeing more backstory on their characters soon.

I luv the early 20th century feel at the warehouse to me it represents a cross between what was known about science and what perhaps could be perceived as mystical. Great concept as design. Characters are interesting enough not to get in the way. So far...

I think that SyFy has hit upon a series that could be a keeper, as long as they don't muck it up. Anyone that was a Raiders of the Lost Arc fan would love this series and watch it just hoping to get a glimpse of the arc.

Devent show, but summer tv must really be dry for this to be rated so high.

I would agree with those who see this show as lackluster. The fact is I love sci-fy... nothing better as far as I am concerned. I did have high hopes for the show, but so far it is very bland and as stated before... is only worth watching if nothing else is on.

The only reason I can see this doing well in ratings is perhaps the time-slot... because god forbid it's because people who love it have bad taste.

As a former detractor, i have to admit I really like this show. My wife also likes it, though she , too, saw the similarities with The Librarian. W catch up with it with Comcast's On Demand. I tape them and convert em to DVD sans commercials and 'bugs'. Keep on making WH13 and we'll keep watching 'em.

My issue with the latest crop of shows is the one-note premises.
Warehouse: Repository of strange and ancient artifacts.
Eureka: Repository of cutting edge and futuristic science gadgets.
Sancturary: you get where I'm going...
Throw in a cast with some conflicts and adventures to add to their inventory. Even Stargate and SGA were beginning to slip down the ancient artifact or magical object pit in their story arcs. I hope Syfy gets steps out of this rut and quickly.

To my surprise, I'm really enjoying Warehouse 13 - it's just the kind of light sci-fi viewing I need after the emotional pummeling I've taken from BSG and Torchwood.

My only suggestion for W13 to be better is for Pete to lose his shirt (or get down to boxers) more often. Pete coming down the stairs without his shirt was the BEST scene in episode three - had to watch that part twice. :)

I really like this show. It reminds me a little of the 80's tv series friday the 13th.

This show continues to improve, and the Claudia episode was the best ever.

Am I the only person overcome by envy that an actress born in 1990 can turn in such an awesomely great performance?

I love you.

I agree, it's nice to have something not so emotionally overwhelming, if only just every so often.

And yes. More Pete/Myka dynamic, please. What you've got is good; but I want MORE. =D

"adults aged 25-54 (1.8 million) and 18-49 (1.4 million)"
So, there were 0.4 million more Warehouse 13 viewers aged 50-54 than 18-24? Rather strange, to say the least. Or is there something I missed?

And to think that US TV series are renewed and canceled based on these "ratings"...

By flatrich at 2:56 PM ON 08/05/09

Great show! Allison Scagliotti is a welcome addition to the cast.

By AndreNorton at 7:55 PM ON 08/08/09

Warehouse
The majority of the scripts consist of a divorce style cat fight trying to appear political.
The props were interesting at first, then went to an easier to produce costs in check
teenage witch fantasy magic (some may need that) with a warehouse sidebar.
