10 reasons you must play Batman: Arkham Asylum
Now that Batman: Arkham Asylum has been released, it's thrown into disarray those perennial lists of the best superhero games. But it doesn't stop there.
It also messes up lists of the best stealth games. It messes up lists of the best games in long-running franchises. It shatters any list of the best games based on DC characters. At least it would if any such list existed. It even messes up any list of games set in awesome worlds.
Although it's (mostly) confined to a single island, the developers have done an amazing job breathing life into that place, fleshing it out, making it feel like its own world. You won't soon forget Arkham Asylum.

I don't play video games anymore; the last video game system I bought was the grey Nintendo Entertainment System (with the nonsensical acronym NES); the last game I got was Wolverine or Ninja Gaiden 3 and I assumed my parents couldn't afford the Super Nintendo and just got into comic books instead.
However, I saw some of this on Spike TV the other day and it makes me wish that the 12 year old me could enjoy this. It looks awesome!

I got it on Tuesday and it's really great. Last week brought the awesome Shadow Complex and this one just eeks it out as the best game in many months. Definitely worth buying.

I agree with the others singing this game's praises. I bought it Tuesday and it's actually fun to play! (I got stuck currently though... oh well).

Not just those voices, c from illinios, but also a ton of others from the DCAU, including a few larger names in VO. I'm still giggling over hearing Cree Summer last night.

Been playing the demo on the PS3 and it awesome! Plus it's got Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamil and everyone from the Animated Series what more could a Batfan want...Going to buy the game tomorrow! Never been a fan of Superhero video games as they the majority of them are just a waste of programming but this looks the dogs!

Since day one of buying this game a been stuck to my gaming seat for hours at a time, with each progression you just crave for more action and adventure. If it wasn't for school, work and sleep I would play this non stop 24/7. This game rules!
I hope we get more superhero games much like this one, Superman should be next!
