Apparently tickets are now on sale for the Thursday midnight show for Avatar at IMAX 3-D theaters on Dec. 17 (check out Fandango).

On "Avatar Day" last Friday, we reported that some tickets went on sale immediately after the footage screened, but only for a short time. Apparently other tickets are now available.

If the movie is as hot as Fox hopes, they should sell out in short order. Let us know if you're successful getting tickets or if you run into a sold-out page.
