\<i\>Half-Blood Prince\<\/i\> places second, still strong

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince took second place at the July 31 weekend box office, with $17.7 million, raising its domestic total to $255.5 million, Variety reported.

G-Force, meanwhile, slipped to third place from first in its second weekend, with $17.1 million, lifting its total to $66.5 million.

Aliens in the Attic, which opened on Friday, placed fifth with just $7.8 million.

They normally only mention genre films here, and I don't think Funny People qualifies.

they could have still mentioned it though. It's not like it's a Funny People review article lol. It's just plain convenient to know what beat out Harry Potter.
