

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince took second place at the July 31 weekend box office, with $17.7 million, raising its domestic total to $255.5 million, Variety reported.
G-Force, meanwhile, slipped to third place from first in its second weekend, with $17.1 million, lifting its total to $66.5 million.
Aliens in the Attic, which opened on Friday, placed fifth with just $7.8 million.
