R-rated Terminator Salvation coming to Blu-ray/DVD
Remember that McG told SCI FI Wire that he shot an R-rated version of Terminator Salvation, which was eventually released as a PG-13 movie?
Well, looks like the harder, more violent and boob-laden version will see the light of day, according to a report on UGO.com:
The MPAA has released its e-mail list of latest films to get an official rating, and on that list is Terminator Salvation—Director's Cut, which is apparently coming to Blu-ray and DVD at some point soon.
Here's the MPAA note:
Rated for some violence and brief nudity.NOTE: EDITED VERSION. CONTENT IS DIFFERENT FROM PG-13 VERSION, BULLETIN NO. 2067 (4/29/09)

Haha honestly I don't. The movie was so completely forgettable that I don't even remember the 'crappy' ending. Though I remember how I felt leaving the theater (bored stiff)...

I guess it depends on what "content" is different from the PG-13 version that was released in theaters...if it's just a bit more gore and some nudity, the movie will still be bad...however, if they added a few scenes with decent acting, changed the ending, and pretty much remade the movie; I might give it a chance.

Nice. I hope it will be a good cut, and do for TS what the directors cut of Daredevil did for it. That is add the story back in.
I like TS quite a lot, but it was obvious there was quite a bit cut out. This will loo sweet in Blu-Ray!

The movie was good. Could've been better, but was still good. R-rated version is a good idea. And those who thing the ending sucked because it was unrealistic are just plain morons who don't like the movie to begin with because of who the director is. Tom Cruise has his eyes transplanted in the most unorthodox enviroment made possible in the movie minority report, but yet noone picked on that situation.
