Upcoming Underworld 3D movie to start new trilogy?
With one released-out-of-order trilogy under its belt, comprising Underworld, Underworld: Evolution and the prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Screen Gems might be gearing up to start a new Underworld trilogy, according to ShockTillYouDrop.
The new Underworld movie, now in development as a 3D release, could be the kick off for a new story arc centered around fan favorite Selene, the female vampire Death Dealer who had been an elite soldier in a centuries-long war between clans of vampires and werewolves.
There is no word yet on whether or not Kate Becksinsale will reprise her role as Selene.
The new 3D Underworld movie is scheduled for a January of 2011 release.

Don't you guys remember? At the end of "Evolution," Seline was no longer a vampire cause she drank of Alexander's blood. She is beyond even Michael.

Think of it this way;
A lovely ballet ensues, so full of form and color. Now, think about all those people that create the sequals. Technicians, engineers, actors, hundreds of people, who will be able to feed their children tonight, so those children can grow up big and strong and have little teeny children of their own, and so on and so forth. Thus, adding to the great chain new Underworld Sequels!
And Agreed, No Kate, No way! (besides, what else does she have to do?)

ugh wasnt the 1st to movie pretty much centered around selene...i mean sure micheal popped up but the majority of the 1st 2 movies centered around her

Please no 3D Underworld.Why in mess-up a film series by adding 3D.

I think a great 3d feature would feature both Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman... perhaps entailing what happens now that she's a daywalker... or perhaps something in between RoTL and Underworld, find a young talent to play a young Selene and then have Kate for the 2nd half of the movie or so 2/3rds... I believe I read somewhere though that Kate was attached to star in this...
