A new trailer has gone live for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Terry Gilliam's upcoming fantasy movie, which marked Heath Ledger's last role; you can watch it after the jump.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day, and tells the story of Dr. Parnassus and his extraordinary "Imaginarium," a traveling show in which members of the audience get an opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.
The movie doesn't have a U.S. release date yet.

Can't wait! I learned about Terry Gilliam in a documentary about his failed retelling of the Don Quixote story -- the production was plagued with so many problems it had to shut down. I'm so glad he's back!

@ MaryAnn254 - check out Time Bandits and Brazil both are (IMO ) excellent Gilliam films.
Parnassus looks pretty cool :)

How about instead of calling it Heath Ledger's last movie we call it Terry Gilliam's movie. Dark Knight was all right and everything, but eating a handful of an Olsen twin's meds and chugging a brew doesn't place you in the pantheon of greatest actors of all time. Don't get me wrong, he was a good actor and all, but ten years from now he still won't be a household name. He'll be a trivia question answer. "Who is best remembered as a gay cowboy, the Joker, and then died?" Even though I haven't seen the movie I can say with all confidence that Johnny Depp probably out acted him.
