If the Thom Yorke track is good, I'll have to buy this if it's not available on a single. I have no desire to watch this terrible franchise, though; it looks like "Buffy" without the humor. Pretty neat to have Grizzly Bear, too.

thank god there are no good artist that will be exposed to fangirls who love twilight.
that's what happened with paramore. they recorded a great song that got overplayed by twilight fans who are all, "OMGG ROB HAVE MY BABIEZZ!!!!1!!!ONE!!"

You know, I am sorry to the fans that MAY be readers of Scifiwire, you like what you like, but who really cares? As far as I am concerned, this series is the worst thing that has EVER happened to Vampire mythology and storytelling... I mean come on... Vampires that twinkle in the sunlight (so I've heard, secondhand)? Metrosexual femeboy Vampires? WTF?!
I get the fact that Vampires have, for a long time been a little quirky when it comes to sexuality in certain books, but damn, this series just makes them so... Un-frightening and lame.
Just my 2 cents. They aren't worth much.

In all honesty, to those of you who are making snap judgments based solely on secondhand information ... you've probably been mislead. You can't really fairly judge whether the series is unfrightening, lame, or a 'terrible franchise' unless you've actually read the books. I thought all of the same before I read them, and I will respectfully disagree.
Looking forward to the new movie, and hopefully the new soundtrack as well. Happy to see Muse on the list once again!

Twilight vampires in direct sunlight are iridescent. They sparkle sort of like diamond dust was smeared on their skin. Supposedly that is why they stay out of the sun. Can''t hide it. In non-direct sun, they are very pale but just seem anemic.
interesting makeup they used.

Screw the movie, but the soundtrack looks solid. I will just rename the album metadata to "bad movie good soundtrack" so I'm never reminded again that it was attached to the Twilight series. Seriously? Someone thought it was bad, read it, and is happy now?
The series/movies are filled with nothing but sadomasochistic, hormone driven teenagers who love to be used/abused and revolve their entire world around their highschool boyfriend/girlfriend for no visible reason that anyone can possibly relate to since none of us can read minds or live forever.
Go open a real book please. But hey, at least the director scored some good songs. Props to them for that.

Okay since this person's handle is invisible I'll just quote his arguements.

Okay please define a real book for me. Because I'm fairly insullted about your implication that because a person enjoys the Twilight series they are intellectually stunted. I am a huge fan of Twilight. I also read Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and the Bronte Sisters pretty frequently along with many other highly regarded authors. Of course the Twilight series isn't on that level but they are a pleasent diversion.
It's fairly obvious to me from your simplistic arguement that you probably never read the Twilight books and are completely basing your opinion of them on the movie. Despite being pretty good, the movie did not do a good job of portraying that most of the so called "abuse" everyone froths at the mouth about was really Edward being worried for Bella and not being able to express himself well due to never having been in love before.

momallratt i just wanted to let you know that i myself am actually an adult and not a "hormone driven teenagers who love to be used/abused and revolve their entire world around their highschool boyfriend/girlfriend " and i have read all of the books multiple times and not only are the very well written that obviously captavite a wide variety of audiences to be making such a huge impact on the world, not just America but the entire world is infatuated with these books and this movie so maybe you should actual look at statistics and realize this book is not just about love and teenagers and is an enjoyable series for a lot of people to read

This is definitely a great line up for a soundtrack. Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, Ok Go... all fantastic bands. Can't wait for it to come out.
Oh, as for reading a 'real' book, I already have. Many of them, in fact. I can enjoy literature just as much as enjoy fluff, thanks very much. Doesn't make me a person of low intellect.
