Or if you want something that's actually about Dollhouse season two, here's the first TV ad.

Lets see... Dollhouse - the keeper instead of T:SCC - looks like more drivel....
Eastwick - why even bother making a series from this old movie, and why even try to call it Sci-Fi?
Flash Forward - we will all blank out during it from boredom...
Fringe - possibly promising
Ghost Whisperer - again, why toss it in this hallowed genre; discuss it over on WE (who airs it more than SyFy anyways)
Heroes- sometimes takes a Heroes brain to keep the storyline intact in ones mind, but we will see if this season delivers....
Legend of the Seeker - again, not really Sci-Fi, but at least promising fantasy...
Medium - Again, why is this here?
Sanctuary - looking forwards to the season, and hopefully more than a short one!
Smallville - you mean this is still running?
Star Wars, Clone Wars - Best cartoon sci-fi going, and good link up between Ep II and III in the saga.
SGU- remains to be seen how they do with the franchise
Supernatural - is this one still going as well? It too belongs in the Horror category, not SCIENCE.
V- Promising hype, see if it is real on screen.
Vampire Diaries - yet another HORROR entry, and also a lame attempt to make a series to capitalize with teenagers predelection with this subject, as have True Blood, Being Human, and so many others. Why when one show hits (Moonlight being the first) do we see so many poor copies afterwards? Do writers and promotors, along with network execs not have any imagination, or must we all be robotic followers of the 'presented norm'?
All in all, a slow season for the DVR... - KH

I’m glad they mention fantasy and horror in their line up along with sci-fi shows. I’m a fan of many genres as I’m sure many folks are.

As for the shows mentioned I’m going to give Dollhouse a second chance since it does have a great cast and Heroes as well even though the show has gone the way of Lost which means it’s disappointing to say the least. I’m looking forward to season two of Legend of Seeker and I’m going to give V, Flash Forward, and the new Stargate show a shot. The rest I’m not going to bother with at all.

divephotog, you've clearly never seen True Blood. I'll give you half on Being Human, even though it displays more maturity (and yet more vileness in villains) than most teenagers (and their parents) would be willing to put up with. True Blood, despite some issues I have with it, is decidedly not teenaged fare. Just because a series has vampires in it does not automatically make it an angsty, romantic-cliche-everywhere show modeled after Twilight.

It's a bit like me saying House and Grey's Anatomy are the same shows. They're both about doctors in hospitals, right? And they all have issues, right? And they solve cases and stuff, right? Ergo, House and Grey's Anatomy are now the same shows.

Pshh, half the reason anyone watches True Blood anyway is for Lafayette. A kickass, gay black guy without fangs and massive amounts of witty dialogue.

Fringe, on the other hand, I found to be absolutely stupid. A dumbed-down, let's-use-psuedoscience-for-plots tv show that can't even hold its ground against the Canadian ReGenesis from several years ago. Now THAT is science-fiction. And features zero - count 'em - zero sensory deprivation chambers! New Scientist Magazine is more interesting than Fringe, hmph.

(Odd, I'm normally the one attacking True Blood...)

Okay. people.
I hope everyone realizes that the Vampire Diaries was created actually before anything that exists now. It was written by an excellent author from early 90's. If anything, Twilight copied it.

By suprememango at 11:45 PM ON 09/08/09

Heroes - looking good. very excited

Seeker - looks sweet. Much more epic. An army of Mord'Sith. Now that's hot

V - also looks intriguing. And I love Morena Baccarin so nice to see her again.

Smallville - looks good but I am concerned that they will soon be beating money out of a dead horse

Sanctuary - link not working for me but still very excited

Clone Wars - Bounty Hunters. More cool Jedi action. Bring it on.

Granted but the fact that the tv series is being released NOW indicates it's trying to cash in on Twilight's success.

All shows...except Smallville (which rules over all of them), and maybe Star Wars; are crap! I wouldn't waste my time watching any of them. Bring on Star Trek: The New (not Next) Generation.

By UnRiel at 8:35 AM ON 09/09/09

I was going to watch it anyway, but now I'm really excited about Heroes. I'd think its detractors might give it a second chance after this trailer.

I think I'll give Smallville another go now. Looks like it's all growed up.
