Abrams' blockbuster reboot will relaunch this Friday… into more than 89 IMAX theatres for an additional two-week limited engagement.

Saw it the first time in IMAX. If you didn't you should not pass this up!.

40,000 Watt Projector!
20,000 Watt Sound system!

Now that must be one hel'va carbon foot-print! I will plant a little tree for everyone that goes. So don't feel guilty about seeing it again.

I can hardly wait to miss it.

I like to watch it in IMAX but its not playing at our local IMAX theater, not driving 3+ hours to where it is showing, guess i will have to wait for the dvd in Nov. I enjoyed the movie in theaters, should have went ahead and watched it when it was in IMAX the first time around, but i havent been to the theater here, not sure if its worth the money since i read a while back they were scaling down the screens in some places.

Why the hell not see it a few more times?? Nothing better coming out movie wise for awhile...

Nothing better? How about bringing Kung Pow back? It was light years better, and it sucked so bad they couldn't pay anyone to see it twice.

I guess they figure on raising the profit of this movie a little bit before the dvd is released. The Dark Knight was supposed to have had this treatment as well back in January, but I guess they missed it.

@oddball

According to this report:

http://beta.www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/shocker-paramount-moving-scorsesedicaprios-shutter-island-to-february-2010/

they can't even afford a $50-$60 million ad campaign so I guess they need the money?

I've never been so happy not to have an Imax theater in my area! I Do hope that they never Wimply go where no one want's to be again. Had i been one of the "Stars" in the movie I think i would keep it off my Resume`

Awesome. More plot holes than a slice of swiss cheese, but still an entertaining movie.

"Back by popular demand" my ass. Paramount were probably hoping that a further IMAX run would push the box office total over $400 million. Well....they were WRONG! It looks like all of three people went to see this again.
