Well, we know which movie will win that weekend! The Green Hornet will move, and then they'll claim it has nothing to do with Tron being released.

A Yogi Bear AND Smurfs movie? 'Cause Land of the Lost did so well...

I hope the whole movie has the same vibe as the clip released earlier and is not just a pointless light show.

Wow. Never before have I seen one sentence so succinctly summarize just how unwilling Hollywood is to risk putting out anything original during a high season (in this case, pre-Christmas).

Of course, the various studios are just trying to stake out their turf with recognizable brands ... it doesn't necessarily mean a new idea (like Pixar's recent 'Up') won't somehow squeeze in there.

But still ... very, very, very depressing.
