Ever since Dominic Monaghan's surprise appearance at Comic-Con to confirm that he'd been cast in ABC's FlashForward, we've been anxious to learn more about the Lost star's role. While few details have leaked, and Monaghan's character won't be appearing in the pilot when FlashForward premieres Sept. 24, we've at least gotten one small morsel—our first glimpse of his character.
Check out the clip after the jump.
In the series, based on Robert J. Sawyer's novel, everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes 17 seconds, during which time each person has a glimpse of the future and their lives on a specific date: April 29, 2010. The show's characters will spend the bulk of the first season figuring out what will come true and whether they can alter the predictions.

I already got a glimpse of our lives in April 29, 2010 and we're still in a recession. I will watch the show for Dominic Monaghan though!

The thing is, I'd probably just see myself watching tv or doing the dishes.
Or maybe reading scifi news on the internet!
