The Twilight Zone, the greatest sci-fi anthology series ever (go ahead, call us biased, we don't care) turns 50 a week from today. And there's no better way to celebrate than by watching all 156 episodes straight through.
You say you don't have 87 hours to spare? Check out the compilation below that includes a clip from each episode—and the coolest thing is, the entire eerie series is captured in under 10 minutes.
If that tease has you jonesing for more, don't miss Syfy's Twilight Zone marathon, starting Friday morning, Oct. 2, at 8AM. The marathon will begin with the first episode of the series—"Where is Everybody?"—and continue though 3:30PM, showing 15 half-hour episodes in all.

Stories driven by great writing & acting.
What a concept!

One of the greatest TV shows of any genre ever. This should be required viewing for any would-be sci-fi or horror film maker. There are too many movies out there that try to use flashy FX or gratuitous gore to cover up stories that can't be called crappy for fear of insulting the crap. The Twilight Zone's writers, directors, actors, etc. had it absolutely right.

Please stop showing marathons of this show. Isn't there anything from this decade or the last to show all day on Labor Day. Like Buffy, Angel, Firefly, The Star Wars Movies, Babylon 5, Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek - (TNG-DS9 or Voyager) even Anime would be nice.
This stuff is really old, out of date, black and white, and dull. People who like it already have seen it a thousand times and the rest of us will not ever watch it.

It's unfortunate that people like K'Rik have an attitude like that towards this series. It's an amazing show. I'm only 24 but each episode has an engaging story that really grabs my attention. Yes, it may be 50 years old but that doesn't take any of the punch out of the messages behind alot of these stories. The show doesn't rely on CGI or amazing special effects and to me that's one of the coolest parts about the series.
And honestly, you bring up shows like Buffy and Angel to oppose a Twilight Zone marathon? Sorry, but maybe watching shows like that have made it so you can't really grasp the concepts on TZ.
